@pingc383 had explained what all the different testing is and means. The ANA testing is totally different to just normal thyroid function testing. Either way...up to you what you want to do about that.

Same with the PGD. That might be worth considering though Luv as there's sure to be some emby's that will be abnormal among them so I guess the thing to consider there is whether you want to go into transfer knowing you're dealing with all normals or just roll the dice and hope for the best knowing that sooner or later you're bound to get a good one

sorry, had a cute kitty getting laptime cuddles & couldn't type.
thanks I'm not sure. he did mention she was an excellent donor (she's had 100% success before)

yes, that's what I was thinking about the PGD - as I'd like to minimise m/c if possible (protection mechanism), though of course there's no guarantees. I'm ok to do the BT and see what happens. I've heard the scratch can hurt. and he said the flush was iodine (I think). I mentioned my lining is usually ok and he said it's hard to tell for sure - it might look ok on scans but still have problems they can't see. but I think that it must have been ok for those 2 BFP cycles - they did implant.

As I mentioned last night it's a lonely little thread at the moment. I think we started too late to catch the April bfp ladies but hopefully our next bfp storm will mean lots of scan pics, baby bumps and other posts. If you are not sure you are up to posting with the graduates while you are still TTC that's ok. We can add you later or you can ask to be added now but decide not to read posts until you are ready. If you are not yet a regular on this thread please continue to post here. Once we get to know you we can add you on. This is to keep the private thread a safe space for pics and posts.

Now here's the promotion speak: This is a limited time offer... he he by that I mean we don't normally advertise for new members but will PM regular posters to advise them of the other thread. But given that it is jolly quiet there AND there are so many ladies on this thread now it's hard to keep up (sorry if we missed adding you) AND there seems to be an interest in posting pics etc but keeping privacy I thought our administrators wouldn't mind.
Count me in to the pregnancy and parenting thread please! Hi ladies, has been a long time between log-ins and sorry for my silence! One million things have kept me from logging in and probably needed a bit of time and space after 3 years of being in IVF mode. I'm from the April BFP ladies - 21 weeks along now after first egg donor cycle and we are having a baby boy in December. I'll be doing some reading to see how everyone's going and catching up. Baby dust to all xx

How much progesterone should I do daily? Should I just do more?
That's heaps! My clinic did 100mg pessaries 3 times a day so you are doing loads more than that plus pregnyl. I'd say you've got it covered

    Well....

I don't quite know how this all works, but my donor was talking to our clinic today and told them she wanted to start jabbing ASAP. She is doing a BT tomorrow to confirm she is 'ready' and pending the results apparently we will start cycling soon.

My clinic was supposed to call me today to discuss it but the call never came, lol. Slackers! Hopefully i'll get some info soon cos right now I'm on CD15 and not taking any meds. Theoretically we could be heading to QLD very, very soon. As in...within the next 3 weeks or so.

Yup! We'll be up there from EPU all the way through to transfer (fingers crossed), so there should be time Might try and organise a lunch or something for anyone here who might like to come. Of course I don't have exact dates yet but once I'm in the know I'll fill you in

Yes...the scratch is to help aid with implantation and the Lipoidal Flush is usually done with a solution called ethiodized oil and is flushed through your tubes to help increase your chances of pregnancy as well

Here's a really interesting link from the Cochrane Library about it. It's pretty full on but excellent reading. Right down the end of the page is the authors conclusion:

    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1...3718.pub4/full

I've had both done on Cycle 4 myself

Yes...can understand you wanting to minimise the risk Luv. I think if I was in your position I'd want to as well
