Yeah, the stats are a tricky one and I want to tread very very carefully and sensitively here. I've never found a clinic who can quote 80%. I've definately heard 60-65%, add another approx 5% for a DET. Transferring two embryos doesn't double your chance of success unfortunately. If you could reach a success rate of 80% by using a proven donor then why would anyone go near an unproven donor. When I read 80% being mentioned twice here, I wanted to hold those girls hands for a moment. I felt really protective.

@Caesardust I bought 3 gorgeous little white porcelain vases in Kirstenbosch Gardens. I'd not used them until today. They're now filled with sweet, delicate flowers to celebrate your happy news!
You don't need to do anything other than keep injecting your Gestone daily. Today you're 1dpo.

@Tahli yeah I don't get caught up in stats to be honest. I think we all know that things don't always work out as simply as they could/should so Im under no illusions. I figure the stats are pretty good compared to where Ive been so Im going to take the risk and go for it. You can only hope you'll be one of the lucky ones!

@Summer sounds like you have a plan which is great, I hope it works!

@gorgeousgeorge thanks for your explanation..Ive never cared too much about stats as I said, hey I did 11 oe cycles so clearly I never cared!! If you don't try you'll never know is my mantra

@tuxcat When Dr W was doing one of my CT transfers, he'd popped the embryos back in and I asked him what their chances of implanting were and he said "50/50. They either will or they won't." I was momentarily miffed then I thought fair enough.
How many sleeps til your treatment cycle starts?

I had twinges and cramping during my two chems and nothing in my 2 BFN. I've had nothing this time round. I wish I could spend the rest of this time away from everyone, but have to be at work...

Big hugs to you hon, the 2 week torture is such a head fruck. Try not to worry about a lack of symptoms this early on though - it truly doesn't mean anything at this stage. You never know, you might get a pleasant surprise when you go for BT
