perhaps if you had an appointment at RPA you could do the FET there. there's a wait list for appointments, but sounds like you have some time. transfer/transport the emby from Genea to RPA - it's treated as an 'internal' transport so only cost ~$100. then the transfer is cheaper (I think ~$1500) - even cheaper if you've reached the medicare safety net.

I did that when doing my Long Down Regulated Protocols on Cycle 1/2/3.

    Hmmm, maybe!

I'm just trying really hard to calm my farm. The whole idea of a DE cycle is a lot to deal with, let alone factoring in flying ( ), accommodation, time off work, and additional unforseen cycle costs. Even just getting to the airport is a 4 hour trip!

Hopefully it will all work itself out.

I hope they can sort out syncing your cycles @Blossom74. sounds a bit stressful!

thanks everyone. had the first counseling session and all went well. our donor has hers tomorrow then group one tentatively next fri (waiting to confirm times/day).
also Monash called & confirmed it's all ok with the family limit (counselor confirmed also). as the treatment is in Qld, and any embies need to remain in Qld, so transfer in Qld too. (ie I can't relocate them to RPA - RPA also said no to this). appointment next thurs to go over next steps/meds. so fingers crossed, all being well, it's coming together. @tuxcat we're at Monash Gold Coast too - as our donor likes this clinic & FS.

I just saw LB yesterday who advised me to do exactly this with my donor cycle and to have a BT 10 days after starting Synarel to make sure I'd down regulated.

Yup, same as us hon. My donor is well within the QLD family limit but we can't transfer our embies back to our NSW clinic as she is over her limit there. It's all good, you just get a little holiday whenever you need to transfer!

@Blossom74 it will work out, even if you just have to push it out til the next cycle it will all be ok in the end...remember that saying They will hopefully provide some options when you hear back. Im currently chasing genea up for the cycle costs, can you believe it! I emailed the woman last week and Ive phoned her just now and she's apologising for not getting back to me. Its like yeah well why didn't you!!! Anywho..more squeaky wheel me thinks!

@faithandhopellove thats a great suggestion that @winsor made. You've got the time to wait for an appointment and so thats really the only draw back with using RPA.
