Oh FFS's Luv, how bloody annoying!!!
The sooner the bloody thing comes out, the sooner you can get on with it Luv. The last thing you want is for it to have a sh!tfit in there and go on you in an acute attack!!!
Better off for them to take it out before that happens. The recovery will be much better and quicker that way. My gallbladder went in an acute attack on me and I was left for a couple of days high on morphine to control the pain due to emergency surgeries taking my place on the list to the point in turned necrotic and I developed an infection leaving them no alternative but to operate.
By the time they took it out it burst as they removed it. Fluid went into my abdomen and I had to stay in hospital on IV antibiotics blah, blah, blah...I was sick as a dog and it was a big frigging drama!!.
Anyhoo...my point is you don't want that happening as much as a PIA it is to have to have another operation is going to be just when you've gotten over this one (((Hugs))).
@winsor our new FS also quoted 80% and I was pretty surprised - it seemed higher than I had thought. No point really putting too much into the exact figures I guess, we know that the chances are way above what we're used to so thats the main thing!!
We also got the advice that it would probably be overkill testing the embryos given the donors age. When do you hear if its all good to go?
Woohoo!!!! @LillyM excellent news. ..you had me worried when we hadn't heard from you.. That is just fantastic news - good on you for being so brave and going to day5. x
@Caesardust woohoo!!! 16 eggs, fingers crossed for excellent fert rates overnight x
@winsor hope all goes well with your counseling tomorrow x
@Summer hope you get some answers from this new specialist
@pingc383 and @skeeter how are you going in the 2ww?
Hi to everyone
sorry, had a cute kitty getting laptime cuddles & couldn't type.
thanks I'm not sure. he did mention she was an excellent donor (she's had 100% success before)
yes, that's what I was thinking about the PGD - as I'd like to minimise m/c if possible (protection mechanism), though of course there's no guarantees. I'm ok to do the BT and see what happens. I've heard the scratch can hurt. and he said the flush was iodine (I think). I mentioned my lining is usually ok and he said it's hard to tell for sure - it might look ok on scans but still have problems they can't see. but I think that it must have been ok for those 2 BFP cycles - they did implant.
