It was def not me.
I finally got the dreaded news. The BT confirmed BFN. Although I have expected it, i was still devastated to hear it. I have been crying since this morning and so hard to concentrate at work and to hide my tears from everyone in the office.
DP was devastated as well. he still wants to try with OE - but I feel we should go straight to DE given my age. We will have follow up appointment with FS on Friday 2 Sept. So we will wait for his advice.
I am of Asian background and DP is Caucasian. does anyone know a good clinic overseas for DE (Asian background?) I am thinking of Thailand and I had a reply today quoting USD15900. Is this the expected price?
if someone can give me information, that would be great.
everyone... sorry I'm still not caught up but wanted to post these before I had to go out again...
@Maxwellsmum thank you - yes they know what we're going through... mine situation is not as weird as your cousin eh?! Wow!
@gorgeousgeorge - yup I know eh?! 46 and 32 weeks (they'd set up Csec early due to her age and previous Csec scrars - doc didn't want her to go further?!)... even though she 'loves' being pregnant and asked to go to term. Oh and I'm soooo worrying about similar things to you(and @tuxcat)!
@tuxcat - thanks for your comments!
I'm just trying to get back up on an even keel as the last few days I've just not done much and that's not good when I'm running a business, preparing for our Greece trip and dealing with family issues for sick parent over East (feeling sorry for myself actually)....
@BIB thank you! Yeah the wedding anniversary csec is probably what threw me over the edge! It was our special day and our only day (everyone else has kids birthdays etc) but now as an extended family a day we have to share (that's why I'm feeling selfish)!
Oh @MissDa - I hope you had a great time meeting your donor - how special! And thank you for your comments!
@Tahli Wow great result on scan! And Sept 23rd woohoo
Arianasmum I'm sorry about the confirmed BFN. They are always hard x
Have you had a look on the egg donor threads on bub hub. I know that travelling donors go to Thailand and Kuala Lupar and Malaysia. You can see their fees and such if you Google them. They weren't too bad to deal with. The lady who runs it I didn't like her much when I met her in person I found her to be rude on a couple of occasions towards me and their after contact has been very shocking. Sending me generic emails assuming I have transferred or am in a 2ww ect when I have had quite a hard slug getting to ET point. There empathy is non existent they are there more for the donors than the IP'S. They have an Australian contact too who I found completely useless. I think she is meant to help IP'S but I am not sure as she never bothered to introduce herself or anything to me. I think she may have helped other IP'S a bit more though, prob a case of the canary who sings the loudest gets the most worms and I never really said much . Anyone they are there to do a job and make money (they say they arent in it for money but of course they are) and as far as the process itself well it was quite easy and most of it was pretty straight forward.
