@Arianasmum so sorry to hear about your bfn. Even though the poas comes up as bfn theres always a part of you that hopes its wrong. @BlondeinBrisvegas has given you lots of good info about the stats at our age. Sometimes the males just need to hear it from a fs as well. I know for my hubbie i had to convince him about the stats at my age and about the cost v success rates. Im.not a high responder and dont get many eggs mixed with crap sperm its a hard road we travel down.
Just quickly I POAS and it's BFN. Just wanted to quickly update all.
I know I shouldn't be annoyed as I have 15 embryos left but just for once it would have been nice to be a the first transfer worked person. I think I frucking deserved it actually
You can take me off the roll call please BIB when you get a moment, thank you. Sorry for no personals.
@Maxwellsmum it doesnt matter what we have in stock, the only one that matters at the time is the one in utero. Im sorry. I thought you were on to be honest as your posts were indicating some hormones were running wild. (No offence, I looked forward to reading your posts as I am the speak my mind type of person). xx
@Maxwellsmum - sorry you didn't get to be that first transfer person. I hope you can regroup soon and try another FET.
@Arianasmum - as others have said DE may be your best option. It s numbers game at our age as they say. My FS only let me do four cycles of OE because I got such high numbers at EPU which in theory gave me the better chance of finding the needle in the haystack. However he often said to me that if I was only getting a few eggs at EPU he would have told me to stop after two cycles. I got lucky and found the needle but that was after collecting over 60 eggs.
Pregnant for the first-time?
