@Charlie74 actually i lie it was progynova tablets i had that were quite cheap. Sorry thats what i thought you were talking about. Slade make up my 400mg pecessaries for about 65 or so.
Oh Luv...am so sorry
It really is heartbreaking
I think you're wise to consider going straight to DE due to your age,but perhaps your DP needs to do another Cycle to be able to come to terms with that psychologically??? Perhaps it will help him when you speak to your FS hearing the cold, hard facts of your chances statistically every Cycle of success using your OE's vs using DE's???
The live birth rate for a woman over 44 years (that's the "take a baby home from the hospital rate") using her OE per Cycle is 2%. So every time you do a Cycle and transfer an embryo (providing you have at least one to transfer), you have a 2% chance of success. With DE I think the chances are around 60% but the Girls here who have done and are doing DE can clarify the success rates for you there.
I don't mean to sound negative, just trying to be honest so that you can tell you DP this when you're both deciding how many more Cycles to do using your OE's Luv before moving on so that you're not wasting time and $ on something that may be stopping you from getting your take home baby a lot quicker.
In saying that, if you do decide to do another however many Cycles using your OE's that will give you time to research your Plan B of DE and find somewhere overseas where you can find a donor that will suit you. I will ask in my IVF Parenting Group (have a lot of Mums in there that have used DE's from overseas, so they might know or have heard of somewhere in Thailand through the grapevine) and see if I can find any recommendations for youxoxox

Arianasmum hey lovely lady, you're like me in that evrn when you get negative hpt you still hope the blood test will be positive, so you get all disappointed all over again. I feel for you.
I think its a really good thing though that you are ok with de options. Its usually harder i reckon for the female half of the partnership to come to terms with that. So although you'r very sad, you seem to be in a good head space.
Lots of ladies say their partners or men in general are statistically orientated. Maybe you could tell dp that 2% chance could mean like 30-50 rounds of ivf if you're only getting 1-3 eggs each time. Which is insane! And no guarantee, even if that was possible and you were millionaires :-(
I have read threads about ladies going to Malaysia now, instead of thailand because the laws changed in some way but i dont know much about it. I am sure that there are donor egg options for ladies of asian decent xox
