DP was devastated as well. he still wants to try with OE - but I feel we should go straight to DE given my age. We will have follow up appointment with FS on Friday 2 Sept. So we will wait for his advice.
I am of Asian background and DP is Caucasian. does anyone know a good clinic overseas for DE (Asian background?) I am thinking of Thailand and I had a reply today quoting USD15900. Is this the expected price?
if someone can give me information, that would be great.
@Arianasmum hey lovely lady, you're like me in that evrn when you get negative hpt you still hope the blood test will be positive, so you get all disappointed all over again. I feel for you.
I think its a really good thing though that you are ok with de options. Its usually harder i reckon for the female half of the partnership to come to terms with that. So although you'r very sad, you seem to be in a good head space.
Lots of ladies say their partners or men in general are statistically orientated. Maybe you could tell dp that 2% chance could mean like 30-50 rounds of ivf if you're only getting 1-3 eggs each time. Which is insane! And no guarantee, even if that was possible and you were millionaires :-(
I have read threads about ladies going to Malaysia now, instead of thailand because the laws changed in some way but i dont know much about it. I am sure that there are donor egg options for ladies of asian decent xox

Warren has given me the go ahead to do a natural FET. So it'll be a scan and bloods on cd2 here in Melb, then more while I'm up in Noosa on holidays for a week. Has anyone had scans somewhere good on the Sunshine Coast? I'm guessing I'm going to have to drive myself and DS down to Brisbane every few days for the scans and bloods, which will be a tad of a PIA if I'm honest.
Apparently the Neuprogen was suggested for my lining so we're not going to use it on this cycle.
When I asked about a brandy substitute Warrens nurse said the Valium does the same job. 10mg pre transfer, 5mg in the arvo, 5mg in the evening. Does that sound right @Maxwellsmum?
I think I'll still do the Gestone injections for extra progesterone support.
@Charlie74 You'll be very much in my thoughts tomorrow morning hun.

@BlondeinBrisvegas you are a champion. Love your sensible but not harsh posts.

Is it my imagination or do we have a poas drought?
