@Blossom74 - that's good the counselling went well! Not long now to get going, you and DH must be getting a bit excited. I didn't imagine you with purple hair?!!
@Heyside - still 24 hour nausea for me. Had my NIPT on Tuesday - Panorama test, get the results in 2 weeks as has to be sent to the US. Next hurdle is 13 week structural scan on 2 Sept. Just taking it scan by scan at the moment

awesome news @Blossom74! time to cycle

as for the epu thing, I guess I envisaged we would be around as obviously DH has a job to do but I didn't envisage I would be in sitting beside our donor. I have though decided to do it and after I let her know she seemed happy about it so Im pleased Ive made the call. As @winsor said, its something to tell the child about too so its all good

Hope you can get some rest and relaxation this weekend

Ha ha, yep! I have my hair cut to an asymetrical shape - shaved up one side, longer on the other. It is dyed black, with bright cadbury purple foils through it! I am the accountant who doesn't fit in, lol. "One of these things is not like the other...."

ETA: I'll try and post a picture up if you like. I won't leave it up forever, just for a little bit so you can see who you're chatting to!

@Green lady - Good luck with those results hun good plan to take it one scan at a time. Sorry to hear about your 24 hr nausea but bub is just reminding you that he/she is still snuggling in nicely.
@tuxcat - Great that you have come to a decision that you are your donor are both happy with.
@Blossom74 - wow love the bold statement with your hair and the fact you love to stand out in the crowd I wish I had that confidence x

That picture was taken on my wedding day - I looked like that for one day, and one day only

Good on you hon! For me personally, I actually think it's one of the most exciting parts of the whole process, EPU. For me that doesn't change whether it's me undergoing the procedure or my donor. I am so excited to be able to be a part of it! I actually had a preference to be there. It didn't seem right that I would just send her off alone for that. Granted, our gorgeous donor is quite experienced, but I feel like it's my responsibility to make sure she is happy on the day, has everything she needs, and has support there. She is one of my best friends now I want to make sure she is ok.

You won't be alone hon. We'll all be here cheering you along! And I think I speak for everyone on this thread when I say that we all want to see EVERY member of our thread cross the finish line.

I think you'll also find that November will start filling up in due course too. Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast that even with donor cycles the first transfer doesn't always work. If anyone here cycles Sept/Oct and their first transfer doesn't work, they'll move into the November period.

Not that I wish failure upon anyone! I am crossing my fingers that everyone does get it first go! But either way, you will not be alone, I promise you

@Blossom74 - I see it's not all purple which is what I imagined ! Purple highlights I'd call it. My hair is so boring, I'm not very adventurous in that department - shoulder length dark brown, can't have a fringe because I have a 'cows lick' and if I have one it sits with a big gap in the middle. My brother used to describe my hair as jungle rat brown - nice.
