TBH I have no idea what we're doing, lol. My plan was to do a fresh transfer but I was chatting to my donor last night and asked her "How will that happen if you start cycling tomorrow and I'm currently mid-cycle?" We are both perplexed. Perhaps I will be less in the dark when the clinic gets around to calling me back. I will keep you informed!

    Congrats @ceasardust!!!
@Blossom74 are you on any meds? When I've done donor cycles we have both been on the pill, then I stop mine, the donor a few days later and then I start prognoyva so I don't get AF?

yes this is similar to me at the moment except I'm on the evil spray because of my adenomyosis. My donor is on the pill at the moment and when i get the go ahead on sept 6 that my hormones are baseline I will start the oestrogen tabs and she will go off the pill and wait for AF and then start stimming. Have you done a nurses interview with the clinic? We got all this info at ours except that I was already on the synarel as I need to be on it for min 6 weeks

just to add that the whole idea is that you are a few days ahead of your donor so that any time she is ready to go you will be too. This is for a fresh cycle.

Ahhh, I welled up! I'm so thrilled for you @Caesardust. Is that Table Mountain in the background? Details, details?! I can't wait to see your wedding photos...you in a long flowing dress, handsome DH and your prominent baby bump. Forever more, you'll always have an extra special link to Cape Town. Happy days.

@Blossom74 How many days until your AF is due exactly? As the girls have mentioned, you usually sync up by using the pill.

I just had the phone call from the clinic. My donor had her BT this morning so we'll know where she is at by late this afternoon. My personal opinion is that we are going to have a cycle clash - I am CD16 today and will get AF in around 12 days time. My donor usually stims for 2 weeks but her cycle is not adjustable as she has the Mirena in for PCOS. My cycle IS adjustable but they are talking about doing a freeze-all now because our dates are out of whack.

Both my donor and I want to avoid a freeze all. For a start, it's an extra cycle cost. It also requires me to fly up twice instead of once. So we are going to push for a fresh cycle even if it means waiting a month or so to synch us up. This is why I called them a week ago - we needed to sort this out, and if they'd responded they could have put me on something then.

At what stage do you usually start taking Progynova?

I guess I'll know more after my donor's BT results come in....

@Blossom, can't remember exact day but usually start prognoyva not long after stopping the pill, Monash staff can a bit lax sometimes, I flipped my lid when they tried to make mine a freeze all cycle.
They have obviously dropped the ball me thinks,

Best to speak to Dr Ongs staff ( not Monash) or the practice manager.
I've had my fair share of issues with Monash, feel free to pm me if needed X
