@Charlie74 - Oh hun just read your earlier post and was so happy with how positive you sounded and everything seemed to be going well but now things arent as clear. Your nurses definitely need to pass it by your fs, are yiu not on meds to stop you ovulating until trigger? Hope you get some answers quickly.
@ange1111 - Good luck for EPU hun hope you get good numbers for testing.

So no I guess there isn't anything to stop me ovulating on my own. In Feb they did a HRT FET so it WAS all controlled.

This is why I hate Monash now. I can't believe after all of this that my doctor wasn't even part of the decision to trigger when my lining is barely 6mm.

The only solace I have right now is that if I trigger Tuesday, then I would still have till Thursday for my lining to grow right? (Bcos if I was having an EPU it would be Thursday).. So if my lining is still growing till Thursday then maybe I'll get another mm or so??? I dunno I'm grasping as straws...
Did LB weigh in on the topic yet?
It will keep growing but I really don't know how long for. I'm not really an expert on the subject myself. Are you to stay on all the meds after trigger *except for FSH* ?
I don't know if they could add in a medication to stop ovulation at this stage either. Sorry I'm about as useful as tits on a bull.

@Charlie74 I agree too that LB needs to make that call Luv not the nurses.

What's the difference if they push you a bit further stimming for another day or 2 & you ovulate on your own vs triggering you to make you ovulate?? Either way you're going to ovulate...at least this way you'd be giving your lining a few more days grace to grow a bit more. They could monitor with daily BT's to see if you have/haven't ovulated.

Who gives a fruck if their minimum is 6mm's?? That's not the bloody point!! It's getting your lining as thick as possible before absolutely having to trigger you that matters isn't it?? Especially in your case Luv. They should be really pushing the envelope as far as they can IMO.

Might be worth having a scan to check your lining prior to transfer if they're going to insist on this course of action. That way you can cancel transfer if all is not in order!!!

@Charlie74 bloody hell, i ran out to the car at recess to check my phone and see how your lining scan went and i was like yay! I do remember thinking if anyone was to ask me what i was doing i would have had to say, "i just need to check the exact measurements to the millimeter of the endometrial lining of a lady, who ive never before". Just got home and finished reading. That sucks mate. I hope that LB gets back to you asap. I know its small compensation but trying to think of positives, maybe good to know that your body has responded to the all the lining meds? But whats a good lining worth without a good epu and transfer, hey? Im thinking of you and really hope you get some confirmation from LB asap. xox

@Charlie74 can you take orgalutran or something to prevent ovualtion? Isnt there something you can take to prevent ovulation. Sorry im clutching at straws too but they gave me a script for orgalutran once which i filled but was never told use and i remember wondering about it and someone on bubhub said it was to stop you ovulating before epu? But surely your FS would know about it. Its scary when you end up on the nurse bandwagon, i always assumed they were relating info from the FS, but thats not always the case, i found out eventually.

Remind me again, are you on any additional p4 support? I feel like 8 days without any p4 support is scary.. I'm hoping pregnyl stays for the duration of 8 days so I'm not watching it reduce after my last pregnyl
I am on presseries x 3 a day and Provera.
I know the pregnyl leaves my system at half dose so mines usually gone 4 days after I do it. But everyone's different and it depends on the dose.

To the ladies feeling like they have lost sight of the goal: I was there too. I can say from the other side there was no miracle turn around when I got my bfp. I think I mentioned once how I loved the scans. Actually seeing a live baby was the only time it felt real to me. Even now TTC has left its scars. I had a tough morning with bub being unsettled and the thought came to me that what i really wanted was to win the battle between infertility and me, not having a baby. Just rubbish but that's what IVF has done to my thinking. That thought was followed by horrible feelings of guilt. Guilt that I wasn't worthy enough and that somehow waiting so long should have made me supermum. The woman who was so meant to be a mother that nothing was a problem. I am keeping my sense of humour though and laughing at the stupidity of my own thinking.

Keep the faith ladies. You haven't lost site of the goal. Infertility is being a biatch and trying to fruck with your mind. Tell it to rack off. You know what you want and you're going to get it.
    Love you xxx
