Default Do you enjoy nights out when you have young kids?

I completely overdid it, I was drinking bubbly thinking it was the low alcohol moscato my host usually gets (2.9 drinks), after drinking the whole bottle during the party games in about an hour I discovered it was full strength, by that time I was flying and lacked proper judgement as I was wasted, kept drinking.... Don't remember getting home and passed out on the couch.

We took shifts, every couple of hours the other half would swap so we could try and sleep it off.

It was a write off and I felt bad for the kids.

It was fun but not keen to do that again anytime soon. And really, it was no more enjoyable than a fancy meal, Dtd and bed at a reasonable hour.....lol.

Eta: we were the only ones there who had kids so they don't understand the need to be sensible

Jesus a whole bottle of wine in 1 hour?! I can imagine the hangover the next day!

Sounds like you had fun though! Just the aftermath that sucked.. Could you go out again in the future for a similar night without the alcohol though, or just limit to 1 drink?
