I use Ovia (I was using fertility friend but I'm not temping anymore). I was recommended to use Glo, but I'd already put a few months of data into Ovia.

Yep I'm using ovia too. Not too bad. On our fourth month off bc but 1 st month really trying. Using opks to make sure I am ovulating.
I caught up with a friend who is 8 weeks pregnant today, and she said her doctor told her about age and pregnancy. It really scared me, I'm 29 and apparently after 30 risks for both you and baby increase. Can anyone shed some light?

Scientifically, our bodies are at prime fertility in our late teens/early 20s....hence people worry about being over 30. Every body is different. Drs usually classify 35+ in the higher risk category - as statistically there is a higher risk of complications etc.

Focus on being the healthiest you can be...no one knows what their fertility is like until you start ttc.

Basically what @yogisMumma said. For example, I'm 35, and the GP ******lined me to the FS because of my age. I knew she would! But, surprisingly, the FS wasn't so worried about my age, she was more worried about how my body was functioning - yes, there's increased risk because your habits may have done more damage over a longer time, or your cycle isn't on track, but fertility health and lifestyle habits are the keys, she basically said. And we're all so different, so while there's lots of opportunity to generalise, just don't worry about it - honestly, I was freaking out about my age before I spoke to my FS, and she (as a specialist!) said not to. My recent learnings too are to not stress when you don't need to. You're still in the game, just focus on making good, informed choices. Good luck x

So confused by this cycle! Got darkest lines on OPKs on 23rd, not dark enough to call positive though. Also had temp dip 23rd and very soft cervix. OPKs since have been lighter. But I haven't had any O pains to speak of, and I often get strong O pains. Temp has come back up to average and a bit higher today. Still got EWCM today. I have been sick the past week so that might have thrown things a bit. What do you ladies think? Reckon I O'd yesterday even though I didn't feel it? ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1472089182.805648.jpg

    Thank you ladies.
I'm seeing my doctor about my under active thyroid tonight so will see what she thinks about age and my thyroid whilst ttc.
