    Default First Time TTC

    Hi All,

    I am new to Bubhub. This is our first time TTC. We have been trying since April 2016. I was wondering if anybody else struggles with stress/overthinking about TTC.

    Right now i feel like my body is trying to tell me i am pregnant but every test i take is negative. AF is due tomorrow and the last test i took was at about 10.30pm last night when i just had a feeling.

    At the moment my symptoms are;
    Bloating
    Nausea
    Constipation
    Gassy
    Loss of Appetite

    I guess i will be able to tell tomorrow but if AF does come then i feel like something could be wrong with me. Gah.. its so hard to switch my brain off.

    Baby Dust to all you TTC

    Welcome! How old are you? April really isn't a long time to be trying. Have you had any tests?

    We tried for 13 years naturally. About to do a second round of IVF.

    Lots of women get anxious and sad. I'd suggest finding some ways to occupy your mind this time of the month. Yoga? Pilates, Meditation? Reading? Movies?

    I found when ttc, that I would be paying more attention to my body and was reading things into 'symptoms', that were possibly always there.

    With my daughter, the first month trying, I had every heaps of pregnancy symptoms and AF arrived on time. The next month was a new lot of symptoms, I was sure I was pregnant, and along came AF. My 9th cycle was the one I got pregnant on, and I had no symptoms whatsoever.

    This time around, the same thing. Symptoms each month, even when I wasn't pregnant. And the month I was, I barely had any symptoms - metallic taste ever so briefly, and post nasal drip for half a day

    All I can suggest, is to document your symptoms each month. You will soon figure out what are normal pre-AF symptoms for you, so you stop assuming they are a sign you are pregnant

    Good luck
