That's the first time I have ever had a call like that before any of my embryo transfers and I did three last year with wazza.

Yeah..that seems a bit strange Luv???

I would've assumed they would've transferred the very best one of the bunch??

I reckon I would've done exactly the same and left it up to Wazza to decide

    Good plan Luv!!!!

That's a strange one hun that they have asked you I would have thought the scientists would make thst decision based on which they thought had the best chance. Good idea asking Warren lets hope it picks the lucky one!

Thanks ladies for your posts after my lining pic this morning. I panicked then posted then had to go to work and have been flat out all day. Sooo my lining is at the minimum required for the SA clinic which is good news although with all the drugs I was expecting it to be thicker I'm not going to lie. I still have almost 3 weeks before I will get to transfer so there's lots of time for it to still grow but I do start to wonder about the quality of that lining when it's been growing for 2 weeks already. It just seems so wrong. Yes there were a lot of follicles but they are small I suppose but go figure I don't need the damn things and then they are there smiling at me saying haha we don't need drugs, why are you using a donor egg again? Follicular Biatches!!! Anyhow the sonographer decided to write adeno? On my slip too without a word so that panicked me before I spoke to my nurse who told me the lining is fine and there's probably no adeno if you have no symptoms. Urgh why do the sonographers do that stuff. Stressful!! So long story short my trip to SA is definitely on. I'm tempted to do another scan next week prior to my intralipids on the 18/08 just to put my mind at ease I guess before I fly out? I'm scared my lining could go backwards like it did for @Charlie74 though. I guess if it does then I'd know before the 22/08 when they scan me in SA. Decisions! Also I went all the way to slade Richmond to get some Viagra pessaries as apparently taking the tablets vaginally is now not the best to do (yes they changed their mind half way through my cycle) and they take 24 hrs to compound so that was a wasted long trip that I have to do again tomorrow. Honestly ladies my word of advice for anyone who does ivf is you have to be on top of your game because no one seems to really give a flying hooha if things don't work out for you.

In saying that, this is what I personally believe....I don't believe it matters what day you transfer an embryo if it's got what it takes energy-wise to keep going it will keep growing and implant and then it's that it's chromosomally normal from then on (unless you've had it PGD tested prior) so as to give you your take home baby.
@pingc383 BIB'S right if it's a good embryo it won't matter which day it is transferred. .. the main reason some clinics grow them to day 5 is purely because some don't survive that long so some clinics think chances are slightly better transferring day 5's or 6's BUT plenty of babies are born from day 2 and day 3 embryos and some say they are better off back inside the uterus and the earlier the better.
Re your lining you should be fine but if your worried just ask when they are scanning for the measurements.

Yes that's so true you do have to self manage a bit.
That's so sh1te about the wasted drive to the chemist. I usually ring my compounding chemist then they get me to take a photo of my script with my phone and email it to them. Based of that they make it then I pick it up the next day. They never compound on the same day here either we have only 1 compounding chemist here thst does them as well.
I have found too that IVF meds like gonal F and pregnyl take 3 days for me to order in so I need to be prepared and it's way better having more and left overs than running out like I did last week.

    Congrats @midnite01 🏻 thats a beautiful number.

Sorry I am being short. Im trying to stay off & keep busy. I appreciate everyones support.

My nurse threw her weight around and Im being scanned thurs 3.30pm with FS appt straight after.

Bleeding has stopped, its now a pin drop on my mal board sized pad.

Im currently doing an art competition against DS8, and I suck at that too!

If I can poke fun at myself in this situation, then I know I will be fine xx

I think bib has said it, if the emby is going to work it will no matter what day it goes in. There are lots of schools of thought about different types of cycles too so I wouldn't get too caught up in that side of things, but in saying that if you don't feel like your clinic is listening to you then it's time to move on. There are plenty of good FS in Sydney. Hope your frosties do the job!!
