Is that what you're doing on Monday?
@Tahli welcome back and thank you for responding to my post along with all the other lovelies attempting to calm me down. I only was told to do 1 spray am/pm 12 hrs apart. It's worked in the past so I'm just being paranoid surely. Scan on Monday is for lining and I suppose the check I haven't ovulated???

I'm sorry to hear your oe are done but at least you know you can put that to bed now. Your ds is your oe right? I think having one less choice in this ivf caper is actually a relief. Wazza sounds amazing and I'll be definitely going to see him if this cycle fails for me. Ps well done on the vagina status!

@Maxwellsmum Are there any differences in what we've been prescribed?
The only med I took home was the Neuprogen (2 X $100) as its apparently not readily available. I need time to digest things before racing off to fill a billion scripts.
I've just rang 3 imaging places to book the MRI but they don't do uterus scans. I'm waiting for the next one to open at 9am. How the heck have I had such a huge amount of scans and surgeries and in that time only one sonographer casually asked if I'd been diagnosed with Adenomysis. When I said I didn't even know what it was, she back tracked. Warren scanned for a few minutes and Bingo. He said there's no hard proof it impacts on fertility but if I want to be thorough then do the Zolodex for 3 months. It's my choice.

Uhm, some part of me was that as well, maybe my cervix. He complimented my vagina then trashed my cervix I think. He asked if my transfers were very painful because of it, and went on to explain that painful transfers = lower rates of success (LB had explained this too). I explained that I take Valium and Panadeine Forte for my transfers. He said to add (vile) Brandy. I wonder if a Baileys, minus the milk would have the same warming effects?
And yes @BlondeinBrisvegas my head HURTS...ALOT!!! My posts are a bit bland because I feel like I've been hit over the head with a brick! Up at 4.30am and home at 11pm. Osteo apt in 2 hours. I might just fall asleep on the table!! Zzzzzz.....

If it helps, i did double spray several times when i had a blocked nose or couldnt taste it when i sniffed. Id never heard of ovulating either. I thought it was to totally shut down your system so how would taking more fire it back up? It didnt affect my cycles though.

@Tahli thats exactly what 3 specialists have said to me re the Adenomyosis and no hard facts about it preventing implantation/pregancy - that included a top Endometriosis Professor/Surgeon who did my lap. But given you have had trouble with DE it might be worth doing the treatment.

@Tahli, big hugs lovely. I know you will be back when you've figured out your path and digested Wazza's words. Just know that I am thinking of you. And remember...IVF is all about problem solving. There are very few of us who are still on our originally intended paths, but we all find a way to move forward. Big hugs hon

    AFM....

Busy, busy week. I'm an accountant and it's tax time Crazy busy. And on top of that, my Mum and Dad, who desperately wish they were rich and could help me with my upcoming donor cycle - but can't - have asked me to sell their little campervan (Seriously, it's a nice little van but barely worth anything) - and have told me they will give me commission on the sale

Bless them, they need every cent that's in that van lol, and it has created lots of work. I've never sold a vehicle before so there was lots of research to do, and all the time that goes into advertising and responding to dead-end inquiries....well, didn't that fall at the perfect time of year, lol. (And it's still not sold yet, BTW.)

Today...Hubby has to mow the lawns, I have housework to do, we have a library trip scheduled and we are off to the markets this morning. We do try and cram as much as we can into each day

    Have a lovely weekend ladies
@Blossom74 thats so lovely about your mum n dads offer. After my 3rd failed cycle my 65 year old (menopausal for 20 years) mother offered to have a baby for me. She said, "im not too old. I saw it on t.v. on 60 minutes". I literally laughed in her face but then realised she was serious so apologised and had to explain "those older ladies you see on t.v. arent using their own eggs, mum. And, giving birth at 65 could kill you." Lol, and i got all defensive about my uterus coz as far as i know, im blessed in that i think my 'oven' is ok. Im a bit scared that DE cycles will prove overwise and I'll find out ive got other probs. But anyway, worry about that later. It was really lovely to know that my mum cares so much though. I dream about the moment when I'll be able to say, "Mum, ive got something to tell you."

@Tahli wow that's a lot to process! He does leave your head spinning! As for the compliment lol and he's seen a lot of them lol I'm guessing he never told ME that because hubby was there with me lol!! He is funny and just says it like it is. That's a lot of drugs isn't it? It is understandably overwhelming. Ten vials of blood! What a day for you! His cycles are intense to be on. I'm glad you are at peace knowing your eggs are over. He told me the same, but I am going with my eggs for a little longer. He is THE MAN in my opinion. And just for the record his protégé , Charlotte is amazing too.

@Tahli im sorry that you had to hear the "your eggs are f r u c k e d speech." When i heard it, i had like an out of body experience, where i was looking at myself objectively and thinking, "why arent you crying? Why havent you fallen yo the floor and curled up in the fetal position". I think i was literally 'in shock'. Took a few days to process and it was kinda surreal. Wandered around the house for days, staring into space, actually saying out loud to myself "i cant believe this has actually happened to me??? " So, its a real grief type experience. You go through all the stages of grief psycologists go on about.
Im really glad that you got some info, diagnosis and a plan though. Imagibe if you had gone all that way and he couldnt tell you anything useful. I never went to see wazza, it was my plan b but i decided to skip plan b and go to DE instead. I try and tell myself that wazza prob would have said, "you can cycle OE a few more times if you want but then u should use DE." But thats just what i have to tell myself. Im glad that you actually have real info and advice to go on.
P.S. im lying in bed, ljke, 'how come no ones ever said i have a beautiful vagina? Is my vagina ugly? What makes a vagina good looking as oppossed to ugly? Now that i think about it i dont think ive actually ever seen another 'real live' vagina besides my own. Should i get a hand mirror and a stack of porn and start doing some research?

@tuxcat Did you have an MRI? Apparently there's no Medicare rebate and will cost around $500 with a 4-6week wait for an apt. Hells bells. Have you had surgical treatment for yours and did you get any symptoms of having it?

I think thats good and its important to try with your own eggs however much you need to, to either get that bfp or just "know" when it feels right to stop. Its different for everyone. xox
