@Charlie74 thanks for thinking of me. The lurgy is worse today although at least with a cold it means the worse its getting the sooner it will be over n done with. At least with a cold, you can have faith that your body will do its thing and eventually fix you. Wish i had that same faith in ivf. Moping in bed, thinking about how to convert all my lessons planned for tomorrow into something someone else will be able to understand so i can take the day off. I dont think ive had an ivf unrealted sick day in over a year. But in the grand scheme of things a cold isnt much at all. Im such a sookie bub.
I've had a look at the scan pic you've posted on the other thread Luv...If there's the sac/yolk sac then what's inside looks like it could be the fetal pole to me.
If your blood work checks out today then it's *possible* that it could just be that the measurement is a little bit behind because the scan has been done at such an early stage Luv and this early out measurements can often end up putting your dates out either putting you ahead or behind where you truly are
In saying that, I'm trying to be mindful of not getting your hopes up just in case it all turns to sh!t
ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1470533715.299587.jpg thanks @BIB here it is for others. My $160 scan. I have more that show the shadow. Im at GP now waiting. As this is where I usually hang out these days. Im a GP loiterer.
@Billie2, big hugs for you lovely.
It's not unusual to not even see the fetal pole until 6 weeks. And a few days can make all the difference.
You are still so early on, and under 'normal' circumstance most people don't even get a scan until they are past 6 weeks. Our radiology department here actually said to me "We wouldn't normally even do a 6 week scan as more often than not they aren't conclusive, and our ladies get upset even though it was just too soon. By 8 weeks we get a much clearer picture."
I know *most* IVF ladies will tell you they see a HB at 6 weeks but I promise you it is not unusual not to.
I think...prepare for the worst and hope for the best is a god plan. Hopefully you're just a tad early and all is still well
Double post. Thanks BH....
