    Default Positive harmony test

Hi there, sadly today we were advised that the results of our harmony test were positive for Down's syndrome. I'm 11 weeks today and this is an IVF baby. I went for a CVS, and am now anxiously awaiting the results. When looking at the scan.. The radiologist noted the nuchal distance to be at approx 5. I know the signs aren't looking very positive, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And what the outcome was?

This isn't much help because I'm not sure of the exact details but my sister got a high risk result from her NT scan a few years ago and had an amnio which showed everything was fine.
As far as I'm aware harmony can be wrong for this just like the NT scan can. Hoping you get some good news from the CVs.

I don't like to be the barer of bad news but we got a positive for Down's on a Harmony test which was a true result and I also know someone else who was positive for Down's on the Harmony who ended having a child with Mosaic Down's (where only a percentage of cells are affected). As the Harmony actually tests the baby's chromosomes found in the mother's blood it is much more accurate than the NT scan. I truly hope you beat the odds and receive good news on your CVS. Xxx
