    The haematologist I saw wasn't convinced that my placenta Abruption was caused by MTHFR which I 100% think it was.

    I think I'm going to start taking a small dose of aspirin and hopefully I can get some guidance from the high risk ob.

    There is so much to learn and I don't feel like I have seen the right person as yet. I have been seeing a naturopath who has helped but otherwise feel like I'm just winging it, which is scary.

    No problem, Sarah Jane. I agree with you. My mum had two PAs and I'm not risking it happening if I can prevent it. You really need to be your own best advocate. I have a gp in Sydney I can recommend who prescribed me my heparin. Also, there is a list of related blood clotting disorders for which you should be tested - happy to send that on if it will help you. The tests will cost nothing since you have a history of PA. still, mine were only 60 dollars out of pocket so well worth investigation.
