Hi there, I have it too. I had 2 successful pregnancies and no miscarriages so I consider myself lucky. I did have significant postpartum haemorrhages. I'm not sure if that was why.
I take the Thorne Research supplements specifically for MTHFR that I buy from iherb.
Thank you for all your stories and help. I will have to see that doctor in Sydney.
I know that next pregnancy I'll have to hav clexane and take baby aspirin. I had severe preeclampsia, I guess from the gene mutation. I've also had a miscarriage and that's related to it Aswell.
Atleast I know now, maybe why I had these problems.
@Reneeharry these have been perscribed by my naturopath. She goes off reports from my ob, my ivf doctor and my recurrent miscarriage specialist (ive had 8 and 1 dd). Ive have issues with oestrogen, i have too much so oestroclear is for that. Progrstalift is cos i csn take progesterone suppositories anymore as it causes weird polyp growths on my cervix. I took both of tyem with my successful pregnancy before i knew about mthfr. Bio q is to help with egg quality and pure natal is the new formula created for ttc/pregnant women with mrhfr. I was originally on bio enhanced meth b. I take that brand as my body copes better on it
Oh and calcium has somethubg to do with the recurrent miscarriages but i cant remember why i take half an aspro clear as advised by uvf doc but 100mg is enough which you csn get from the supermarket
@Reneeharry. Im not oregnant. I lost a baby in februry. My 8th loss 9 if you include its twin. A boy so i shouldnt say it. So ttc again and tep take them all the time. Best to have the body as prepared as possible
