@lotsathoughts so great to see you popping in here. That is amazing that 7 out of 9 could be tested. I'm hopeful all 7 come back ok. What do they do with the other 2? Can they refreeze and you can then decide if you want to transfer at a later date or does it mean they weren't strong enough and wouldn't survive the process?
All the best for your BT tomorrow, I hope you can get started on the pill again- one step closer to transferring a perfect pgd tested embie.
Please let us know when you get your results on both your pgd and d&c testing.
I've been thinking of you, I hope you're travelling as well as you can. xx

Thanks @hopefull29! I going to a specialised scan place for my Nuchal scan on the 10th October. OB said that given that it would be better to go there then a generic scan place as that is all they do and will have more experience. Given I'll likely only have those results to go on, then it sounded like a good idea. That place also doesn't NIPT testing and offers a brands. My OB called them and they said that I could come in to discuss testing and that they would scan on the day and see what was left in the empty sac and then make a decision about whether it be appropriate to go ahead. She said that they would more than likely recommend against it but that that it was worth the appointment (and hey I certainly won't complain about another scan!!). So have that appointment scheduled for next Wednesday morning. I think if there is any chance that it will effect the results then I would rather not do it anyway. Would hate to get abnormal results back and then not know if they were actually valid or not. Hopefully everything looks great at the Nuchal! It just seems so long away!
@skeeter I'm currently living at home with mum and dad also. It is so great to have family support! Even more so with twins I bet! How exciting! Mostly for me it more of a house sitting arrangement as both my parents travel for work and are only home every 2-3 weekends. But I have a feeling they will come home more when the baby is born which will be a huge help!

@Positivity that makes complete sense. No point in doing the NIPT if there's a chance your results could give you a false abnormal result. Really not worth that stress. I'm sure you NT scan will give you the reassurance you need. But might as well get that extra scan to see if they'd recommend the NIPT or not. No one would pass that up!
I've also been going to a specialist scan place, I must say its lovely. They are so experienced, talk you through absolutely everything and I 100% trust them. Given I've reached the safety net well and truly out of pocket fees are really no more than normal scan places. I would happily pay the extra for the specialised scanning places in the future too, I've heard some horror stories and also had my fair share of dodgy sonographers in the past.
You're also very lucky to have that family support! I would move back in my mum and dad in a heart beat but DH does a good enough job of looking after me and somehow I don't think he would be so keen on moving in with them. They are just around the corner though so close enough!

@hopefull29 Its funny I didn't even realise there were specialist scan places lol! Just thought all were equal. So glad she recommended them and great to hear that you have had really good experiences! Sounds great that they spend extra time talking everything through! Definitely could use that, especially since this is my first baby and I feel completely clueless about everything! Good to also hear that safety net means the cost is about the same! They didn't mention anything about Medicare rebates so I wasn't even sure if there was one.

That's awesome that your parents live around the corner! That's like the best of both worlds!

Thank you @hopefull29 I'll let you know how
    I go with my results.

With my embryos, the other two didn't expand but were still living cells so they refroze them. One was tested but there was a malfunction with the process and the cells were lost...apparently it can happen. ?? And that embryo didn't expand again so they couldn't retest it. So I have two that are frozen and not tested. I guess we're keeping those for back up.

We're travelling ok. I'm still finding it hard but I think getting the process started again is helping. I can't wait to be pregnant again and hope it's not too long until I am. I have hope xx

Default IVF babies due March/April/May 2017

@lotsathoughts that great you have them just incase. Hopefully you won't get to the stage of needing them though.
Glad to hear you're coping ok, I don't really think it's something you'll ever get over but I do think moving forward with a plan is the best spot to start.

Today's scan went well. Bubs measuring spot on with dates and all is looking perfect.
Such a relief, it's all starting to feel very real now.
The sonographer told me the 12 week scan they check for 40 things, at 20 weeks they check for 140 things.
Finally seeing my OB on Monday so looking forward to this visit too!

Congrats on your scan @hopefull29 !!! So happy for you. It's so good when it starts to feel real. Soak it up. I didn't realise they look for so many things at the scans! Wow!!
How exciting about seeing your OB too!!!

My blood test today showed I still have pregnancy hormone in my system so it's another week before bloods and possibly starting the pill. Makes sense because I've had headaches on and off and today was and on day. Think that's a sign of flushing out all the hormones. Think my body is trying its best, it's been through a lot this year. I'll get there
