Oh and @Muchulu1 if you do the NIPT test you don't need to do the first trimester screening bloods, so I did the NIPT yesterday.

@Gypsy37 That is awesome that your OB is also a specialist sonographer! Also nice that you get to go back in 2wks, even if it is just for a double check . I've got 4wks between my last appt & my next. It feels like forever!!! I haven't seen bub in 3wks. Hopefully everything is still all good . 6 more sleeps.
Yes, such a beautiful day today!!! Bring on spring!!

    Hi ladies,

Just thought I'd check in and say hi nothing new here except this we booked a family holiday for March next year, which I'm excited about!
@lotsathoughts I'm still thinking of you and hope that you are managing ok. Let me know if you need someone to chat to or anything x
@bubbles21 you poor thing, you must be so worried but I have my fingers crossed for you! I don't know much about aspirin but I think it's a good idea to ask your clinic. That gp sounds useless! Besides that if you can't get a straight answer from anyone, I do think I'd probably keep taking it. It would be terrible if you stopped and something happened as you'd probably always wonder.
@Gypsy37 with DD, I did my NT scan and had my obs appointment the following week. I'd done my NT bloods so the sonographer was able to tell me the results straight after the scan so the obs really just said the same as her. It's fantastic to hear everything is going so well!
@Muchulu1 all the best for your next scan, I'm more than certain everything will be ok and you'll probably feel some movement soon, which is exciting and will be very reassuring!
@hopefull29 check out mumma bear nursing wear on Facebook. They are stockists of Cadenshae nursing activewear. I haven't tried it myself but apparently it's great quality. I had the info saved in case I needed it. It's more for active wear following bubs birth than during pregnancy though.
@skeeter congrats!! Hope you are feeling well!

Sorry haven't been posting for a bit, I've been waiting to have my 12 week scan, still a week to go feels like a long wait since saw baby last at 7 weeks. Been gradually coming off endometrin over last 2 weeks, from 3 a day now on one with bloods monitoring progesterone levels. All is looking good and on Monday will stop taking endometrin all together. My nausea has eased a lot since the last week but have extreme tiredness and just want to eat all the time. How is everyone else feeling?

@Gypsy37 I'm pretty sure the 12 week scan they also check for development of the body structures ect as well as NT. My scans tomorrow so I'll let you know.
@Muchulu1 I'll have to check out Lululemon, I love lulu pants actually so I'm hoping some styles are good, lately I've been wearing 2XU and they're pretty snug. I think they also do a pregnancy tight.
@Annerley yay to a family holiday. So nice to have things to look forward to. Where are you off to?
I'll check out mumma bear nursing wear in facey. Thanks.
@Finchee I hope the next week goes quickly. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow which is 2 weeks since a quick scan before my NIPT and that feels like forever!
Glad to hear your nausea is easing. I hope the tiredness starts to ease soon for you.

@hopefull29 all the best for your scan tomorrow.
Is everyone doing NIPT test before your 12 weeks scan?

@hopefull29 I am just over 7 weeks... I had a double transfer and they have separate sacs so I think both embryos stuck.
@Muchulu1 I am still wrapping my head around it! I always wanted twins, but it's going to be a lot of work on my own. I live with mum and dad at the moment so that's good, but they are older and have health issues...
@Gypsy37 I am due 9th of May. Well, that's what I worked out, no-one had told me! At the ultrasound she said one twin is measuring two days smaller, so they may use 11th of May. But then I've read that twins are usually delivered earlier than the due date. So who knows? Good to hear your scan went well... I am in Perth too!
@bubbles21 Sorry to hear you are having trouble... I am on aspirin because I followed wazza's regime of supplements.
    @Annerley thanks

Hey Ladies, Would love to join you all! Have been following along since my BFP in August, but took me a while to realise that this could actually be happening! Have seen the heartbeat twice now and currently 10 weeks 1 day, so finally starting to feel more a bit more relaxed (although not totally!). Due date is 19th April!

Bit about my story: I'm 36 and single, testing last year revealed low AMH at 6.3 so was encouraged to look into having kids sooner rather than later, especially if I wanted more in the future. So decided to do IVF with donor sperm, which I started in May this year. First cycle they got 7 eggs but only 1 very early blast made it to day 5 which was transferred (BFN). Next cycle in June they got 6 eggs, only 1 fertilised but it was a nice looking blast on day 5 and was transferred (another BFN). Then my cycle in July they got 5 eggs and on day 5 I had one early blast and one good looking blast and we transferred both (finally a BFP!!).

My first scan at 8 weeks I found out that actually both embryos implanted but unfortunately one didn't make it and stopped developing early. One healthy baby measuring well with good heartbeat and one empty sack. Was both sad and a bit relieved at the same time!

Just had my first OB appointment this week during which she did another scan. Still looking good with strong heartbeat of 169! Apparently though because of the second sac (which would be producing it's own hormones or something) then my 12 week bloods and any NIPT testing is likely to come back as abnormal. So weird and a bit frustrating! I was hoping those tests would give me a bit more comfort given my age but it looks like now I'll only have the Nuchal scan to rely on. Just trying to go with the flow and trust that everything will be alright!

Anyway it's all seeming a lot more real now and would be great to get to know you all and go through this together!

Thanks @Annerley for thinking of me. I might take you up on that offer xx

Just a quick update on me...7 of my 9 embryos were suitable for testing!! I'm really happy with that number and hope we get one good one to out back in...hopefully in October this year.
Find out results from d&c and embryo testing by October 5.
Got a blood test tomorrow to see if all the pregnancy hormone is out of my system then I'm on the pill if it is. All these little hurdles are getting us one step closer to our goal.

Good luck ladies. It's lovely to see such great results. You all deserve it so much. Keep enjoying this crazy ride xx

@skeeter so cool they have separate sacs, it's crazy you can do single transfers and they result in a bfn but then a double will give you twins, sometimes I think it's just when your body is ready. I've only done 1 stim cycle and only had 2 embies I was seriously considering transferring both but chickened out last minute so decided to freeze one. First transfer was a bfn but the FET resulted in this BFP. I often wonder if this one still would have stuck back then or if my body just wasn't ready after a stim cycle. I guess I'll never know.
Great you've got your mum and dad to help you.
@Positivity welcome and congratulations!! You've been through so much to get here. You sound like one strong woman.
When's your next scan booked in? That's interesting about the NIPT results, can you do it a little later on?

My MS has returned, so much so I've been vomiting all night. This is the first time my ms has happened in the afternoon/ evening. Man I hope this stops soon, I'm seeing my OB on Monday, seriously considering asking for some meds. I'm not sure how much longer I can function with all this vomiting.
