For those of you doing an nipt test, which one are you choosing? I'm trying to decide between genesyte through genea and generation nipt which you can have collected through laverty pathology. They're both processed in Australia and I don't want one that is done in America because the results take longer to come back and they're the same price anyway. Generation nipt is only $395. Any suggestions which one I should pick?

@Gypsy37 good luck for your beta results. I'm sure you'll ace it.
I think we're doing the harmony test. We will discuss it on the day which one we choose with our genetic councillor. The imaging place does it all there so we're booked in, and will just decide when they explain it all to us on the day. They just said to book in for the tests and let them know once we've discussed it which one were doing. Not sure if this is the norm or not.

@bubbles21 I'm thinking of doing the harmony test too. I haven't met with my Ob yet so haven't gone through it. I did read it was around $450/$480(can't remember) somewhere on their website.

Don't know much more info than that.

Oh, good luck @lotsathoughts, am sure all will be great. I look forward to hearing. I am definitely going to get one of the tests, but not sure which one and not sure which is best. I will discuss with my Ob. My GP mentioned the Nipt. But I will look into it. God, is there any point during a pregnancy that we can relax and not be totally freaked out??

@Gypsy37 once you get through some of the big hurdles it does get easier near the end. But I don't think us IVFers fully relax. We seem to know more which can be stressful.
But from my experience you learn to relax a little more down the line. It just takes forever to get there X

    It is definitely dragging @hopefull29
Have to wait until 6pm! I even spent most of my DD's nap doing marking so I could keep my mind busy. I chose marking over rest?!!

Feeling a bit off today. I'm not keen on food and my mouth feels funny. I'm not nauseous...but almost there. I'm taking it as a good sign.

Just out of curiosity, why are you choosing the harmony test which gets sent to USA when they have tests that are processed here?

No harmony is the USA brand. The ones that are processed here are genesyte and generation
