    @Annerley oh no, that's so sad to hear!!

    I was so lucky at my scan yesterday to get see the little heartbeat! I was 8+2 and the heart rate 160bpm. The sonographer is calling a girl already because apparently girls have a faster heart rate?

    I even got a sneaky 3D photo, so cool!

    Thanks again ladies. Unfortunately I've been sick again all morning. FS gave me the option of putting the procedure off til Monday but at this stage I think I'd rather get it over and done with.

    Thats wonderful news @SurferGalGC I was sure DD was a boy as her heart rate was 130 at 8wks exactly and 157 at the 12wk scan. I wonder if the heart rate theory will be more true for you!

I had never heard that heartbeat theory, will be interesting to see what transpires. I hope you're feeling good xx

    @SurferGalGC how exciting!! I have a scan in a week but I'll only be 6+4 so I'm worried I won't see the heartbeat
