Default IVF babies due March/April/May 2017

    Hi,
I'm not sure if there's already a group for babies due in March/April/May 2017 for IVF babies. If so apologies can you point me in the right direction.

Thought I'd start a group to chat with those are in the same situation to offer support.

I'm due 4th April 2017. DH and I have been trying for 3 years. Always assumed there would no fertility issues, after 18 months of trying a doctors visit was needed. It was confirmed that I had a huge ovarian cyst. Cyst was removed and specialist said there should be no issues in future and go back in 6 months if still no success. 6 months later then another 3 months of clomid with no success still further tests were done. One Fallopian tube was majorly blocked and unable to be unblocked. Next option was IVF. I've had 1 ivf stim cycle- 3 embryos, 1 died day 2, 1 transferred day 3 resulted in a bfn and a natural FET last month has finally resulted if a BFP!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone else is travelling.

    Woo hoo!!!!! Here we go!
@hopefull29 I have a similar issue with my tubes. I was given the option to have surgery by my FS but I was pushing 35 and there was no guarantee so we went straight to IVF.

We've had a very fortunate run, thus far. Our first cycle resulted in DS who will be one Monday. And I'm 7 weeks pregnant from our first FET, due March 18.

We also got 3 frosties on ice to keep things interesting.

Yay!!! So glad you ladies found me. @ilex my FS didn't even give me the option to fix my tube just said far to risky and likely to not work and could risk losing it along with my ovary. So def not worth that risk.
I still have the one good tube but that side was the side my cyst was on so the eggs coming out that side are likely to be a tad dodgy......
Never ever had I imagined I'd be going down the IVF path as I'm sure most of us wouldn't have thought so.
@lotsathoughts I can't wait for your beta results!!!

    Hi Ladies, found you @hopefull29

I'm 29 and we've been trying for 3 years. I had an ectopic 2 years ago and that damaged my left side (they didn't remove it). Had 6 months off due to them using methotrexate. When we started trying again after that I had a mc. Then we ticked along for the next year trying with no luck so September last year we went and sought the help of a fertility special. We see Lynn Burmeister at Monash and just love her. Had quite the journey since then, 2 surgeries- one for a look, the second to remove my tube. Started with ovulation induction with Clomid (horrid stuff that is) with mid cycle scans etc then we moved on to the injections. Gave that 7 months and no luck. So in May did a full stim cycle. We were very fortunate we got 11 embryos, transferred 1 and didn't take. Then last month had a FET and its resulted in a BFP. Still can't believe it. We also have 9 embies in the freezer luckily.

So I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and going for a repeat hcg. So nervous! Hope it has risen. We're headed away for a holiday so can't have a scan until 8 weeks. So if the hcg is rising it will at least be a small piece of mind.

Lovely to be sharing this journey with you all! Xx

@hopefull29 I saw you asked about betas in the other thread, so make things more confusing I'll answer here. (One less thread for me, lol)

    This pregnancy my betas were:
    11dp5dt 170
    16dp5dt 639
    19dp5dt 4629
    26dp5dt 24111

    With DS:
    11dp5dt 225
    17dp5dt 1994
    24dp5dt 16563

His started higher, but were slower. This pregnancy has been higher, which is why (I'm guessing) I've felt like poop

Betabase website is an awesome resource for hCG ranges.

@littlerayofsunshine87 so glad you found us here! Good luck for tomorrow beta. Hope it's rising nicely! Congrats on your BFP! You've certainly been through a lot, thanks for sharing. Do you have any symptoms yet? I did at 4 weeks but not at 5 weeks they seem to have disappeared except for the fatigue. I had a mini freak out but HCG levels are rising nicely.

No not really which stresses me too. The only thing I have really is I'm very fatigued. Normally a night owl but been crashing and burning at like 9pm lol

@ilex thanks for that info. Your betas look so strong!! I would like it if mine were a bit higher but I guess they're still going up and that's the main thing! I'll check out that site. Thanks xx

@littlerayofsunshine87 I'm sure it's totally normal to not have symptoms this early. I think we just get so paranoid after IVF. Apparently week 6 you're more likely to have symptoms. So in a weeks time we could very well be complaining about them. Lol.
