Default Has anyone concieved with a 26 day cycle???

I have a 26 day cycle and my husband and i havent been able to conceive in the last 6 months of trying ( plus a full year of no contraception ). Im only 23 so i thought it would have happened by now. Just wondering if people have a similar cycle length and have either had success or just have a story.

It all depends on your luteal phase length (how many days between ovulation and period start) not necessarily your cycle length, and 26 days isn't really too short. If you're concerned go see your GP, they can do some tests to check and see if you're ovulating and check the various hormone levels as well. Usually you won't get a referral to see a fertility specialist until you've been actively trying for 12 months (at your age) unless the tests reveal an issue. Good luck

@TaiZ how's it going? I have a 10 day luteal phase and was worried it is on the short end, but fell pregnant in 3rd month of trying.

I have a short luteal phase and my dr recommended dtd right before ovulation so that there is sperm waiting once the egg is released...could increase the chance of it implanting before AF gets rid of the fertilized egg.

Definitely go to the dr if you want more answers!

I had a 25 day cycle and it took me a couple of months to realise this when we started ttc. I was ovulating late (cd18) and my period with arrive on cd25, so my luteal phase was too short to conceive. After trying different vitamins to try bring ovulation forward or push back my period, with no luck i then decided to try acupuncture after reading how successful people had been with using it to extend their luteal phase/ttc. I had one session before my fertile period and that is the cycle we fell pregnant. It took us 8 months to fall pregnant with my DD.

    Good luck!

My cycle lengths were 23 days before my eldest was conceived and 25 days between my other babies. They were all conceived quite quickly so there is definitely a chance I would say

My cycle length was 23 days when my daughter was conceived. She was conceived on our 9th cycle trying.

My cycle was all over the place when I conceived this bub, but was also conceived on what would have been a 23 day cycle.

With both pregnancies i ovulated on day 11
