@LittleMissSunshine - I've waited until November to receive mine so I'm guessing the wait times vary? It may be dependant on how quick you lodge your tax return etc...and how quick these are processed.

The centrelink site indicates balancing is done automatically so I shouldn't need to do anything.
It is August, does it usually take this long?
No I didn't have to do anything, just got the letter via myGov this morning.
I couldn't tell you how long it usually takes, this is the only payment I get so I don't pay much attention as long as the centre are only charging me 50%!

I had a message on my Centrelink app come up yesterday saying we would be receiving the 50% CCR .....I did a lump sum claim for the last financial year. I rang up as I was expecting more and he said they had just processed the CCR at this point as were waiting for our taxable income figures to come through from the ATO (did our tax returns on the 20th July) and I think then the CCB gets worked out.
@Little Miss Sunshine you should be okay, I'd have thought it would have done automatically for you

Update: just checked my gov website and they have proceeded the arrears payment (isn't available until tomorrow) - over $10,000 !! I must have not been receiving enough for my DS1 either! Jeez I'm pretty annoyed that I've been paying pretty much the full amount all this time. The payment comes out of my credit card so I don't notice it. Happy to get a huge refund but I would have liked to have that $ throughout the year against my mortgage.

I might get the 50% taken out of the fees directly from the centre as a lot of you ladies above have done.
