    Genuine question.
I personally have a unique name
Not totally crazy but at 34 never encountered another in person

I always say it was the best gift my parents gave me.... its individual and unique... not 1000000.million with the same name

I also will give my child a unique name and hope he feels the same

I am in the same boat, I have a very unique name and like you still haven't met another in person.
I couldn't imagine being named anything else.

Opposite boat here. I am a Jessica born in 1987... Through most of high school I gave up and went by my middle name (Kirsty) as a preferred name
