I was too distracted with watching the beach volleyball to notice tennis players names. God those women have amazing bodies! Major body envy!!!

We watched the girls beach volleyball last night. Awesome to see them win and i know first hand how much work they put in training as my DP used to play at their level before he retired at the end of 06

Did anyone see the footage of the poor gymnastics competitor breaking his leg?

I was just casually scrolling through my news feed on facebook yesterday and one of my friends had shared it. I had no idea what I was about to see as there was no warning of what was to come...OMG

I used to watch the olympics on telly but honestly, if it weren't for all the scandal floating around on Facebook, I wouldn't even know it was on right now. I couldn't figure out why there seemed to be a "lack of hype" surrounding these ones, until last night it occurred to me... I don't have free to air television. So I missed all the lead up and now the coverage. It just wasn't put in my face like previous ones
