42 working days left for me... Minus a few sick days here and there 😜

I want shopping with mum on the weekend and bought some essentials... Nappies, nipple cream, baby toiletries, etc.
Eek... It's starting to feel real now!!! 30 weeks tomorrow 😊

Haha cute pic!! She's getting so big!
I'm trying to work out how we can get our household functioning. Erica is 2 weeks tomorrow - she feeds well but is a grizzler from about 10pm to 2am. Hubby has been doing this shift but I will give it a go tonight and see how she goes. She slept through grizzle shift last night but only as hubby had her asleep on his chest. So hard to follow all the rules that everyone suggests.
I'm sure we will work it out though. Not sure if she has days and nights confused as both are pretty quiet in our house as we all try and catch up on sleep.

Woof I'm of the opinion that the "fourth trimester" is a real thing. Don't worry about rules and regulations for the first 3 months. Just keep her fed and warm, in whatever capacity you need to. Once she's comprehended this big wide world then you can start introducing some of your own rules. And by then you'll know more how you feel about them etc.
Bub has clocked more hours in bed with me than in his own bed since he's been topside, but I don't let it bother me. He slept with me for 9 months before that!

Thanks Tugs. Glad to know that there are non judgey people out there.
I'm going to up the amount we offer her with each feed tomorrow and see if more food means slightly longer sleep and better patterns.

I've found that works for us. We are demand bfing so I know it's different circumstances, but he only feeds 10mins each side and that will give us an hours sleep maybe if that. So we have learnt to wake him up and double it, so offer twice on each side. That then gives us up to 3-4hrs which is a huge difference.

We demand feed and offer up to 110ml formula but we are on AR formula so its a slow feeding process... my partner does the evening afternoon feeds and I take care of the rest... its exhausting but having a routine just isn't possible I believe this young... she has between 65- 90ml depending on what she takes and tired levels... do what you can I say to make life as easy as it can be
