She will be 4 months on the 28th and because of reflux we were told by the pediatrician to start solids then plus she isn't a big bottle feeder as gets tired sucking so a better way to get nutrients into her... will start with avocado and some puree fruit and then try grains closer to 5 months

Thanks for the info ttc. I'll definitely try the things you mention. Im formula feeding. What probiotics do you use?

Wow I can't believe she is almost 4 months already!! It's true what they say that the time does go really quickly ( even if it does seem like one long continual day)

Also we did a small sleep from 4 to 4.30pm tonight... bath at 5.30pm then topped up 60ml F from her previous 80ml feed and she went down at 6.40pm worked a treat so that's our new nightly routine no dinners for us for a while haha

Haha I know what mean by no dinners! I sometimes look at the clock and it's 10am and I haven't even had a chance to do a wee and I've been up since the crack of dawn lol

So our sleepless evening babies are back- we did have one good night but then the last few nights have been terrible- one didn't go down until 1:30 this morning......I'm busted and hubby doesn't think he can do this for much longer.......I'm a bit frustrated as he gets at least 6-8 hrs of sleep a night stil (about 3-4 more than in getting every day!!)

Thinking i I might have to call in some help from some sleep experts as don't want this to ruin my marriage......but then hoping this leap ends soon and this evening carry on might end?? Other than the evenings they sleep so well (except for our 45 minute intruder every couple of days...)
@ttc1981 I am trying the Dr Browns bottles too....my girls still seem to have burps though- is that right?
tried the Novalac Colic but didn't seem to change anything on our front (was hoping it was the magic bullet) but then as we are stil only topping up with formula from either BF or expressed BF maybe I wasn't using enough to see a difference.....

not it sure I can keep expressing for too much longer either- that really is a sleep theif too.......
@Meshell good luck! Hoping all will be fine xo

Meshell I hope you're feeling better! I had two flus during pregnancy and spent three nights in hospital after i ended up with pneumonia. I couldn't shake them and spent from May to the beginning of August with a cough and no voice. The rest in hospital helped me get over it although I didn't get my voice back until just before I went into labour. It was pretty awful tbh.

Newborns are prettyhard on your relationship with hubby and I can't imagine how having two multiplies that. Austin was unsettled and screaming between 8 and 11pm last night. Hubby was snoring his head off and had the nerve to ask me what was wrong with him in a snippy tone. Weekends he's supposed to do some night feeds so I can get some sleep. He gets his 8 to 10 hours a night interupted during the week. I wanted to punch him so badly. We had a chat after he let me sleep in and now we have an understanding.
The pumping is super time consuming isn't it- I'm still pumping 5 times a day and I hate it. Add it to feeding two babies I would have given it up ages ago. Even with the time saving tricks I still hate having to do it. You're doing a greatjob and have done so well to stick it out for this long. No one could judge you if you wanted to give it away (but totally understand the mumma guilt it causes).

Ruby where are you in Australia.. I met a great neonatal nurse who does twins at night for a relief for parents but in Perth. Honestly with one babies are hard not sure how your doing two... my partner sleeps thru but I also work and he helps out like today I'm gone for 4-5 hours... I miss her but it's a great time out to have for me... any chance you can get someone over during the day so you can get a 2 hour nap... gosh I would pop over to help you out as can only imagine what your going thru... im so impressed your still breastfeeding and pumping... your doing such a great job so whatever you choose to do for you will be great... Zoe is a small feeder so feeds every 2-3 hours and we're not doing a routine... last night she did one 4 hour block then 2 hourly... I would love to get more than 100ml in but there's no chance at the moment... seeing the nurse tomorrow and hoping for some tips
