He's nearly 3 months not really a newborn anymore...
I know he's still just a baby. And we are okay most days. But it's ****ing hard, I won't lie.

We have a 3 hourly routine as well from our SCN nursery days... Zoe is a small feeder and we struggle to get more than 90ml in at anyone time. Day times is all over the place and she's fed when hungry... night time is smack on 3 hours occasionally longer... Zoe is nearly 15 weeks now but 9 weeks corrected so we are starting a routine as from last sleep ending at 2-3 pm she won go back down and is a nightmare from 5-7pm... so routine it is from now on as I think she works a lot better knowing what the go is we don't do controlled crying at all and usually just take her for a walk or baby wear her when she gets overtired... she's a pretty good bub but evenings are hard work! Also hate save our sleep she's a Nazi on weird things look at contented little baby book by Gina ford and the Dr Howard Chilton books are fantastic

I understand mrs tugs its not easy. As i said once you think they are settled in a routine they end up doing a 180 on you and being gremlin like again.
Did anyone get sick this late in pregnancy i am absolutely struggling i think its just cold but its hit me so hard ontop of really bad reflux i have body aches head ache tightness in chest horrible cough and shivery.

That is not a cold meshell. Sounds like it could even be the flu. Did you get your jab this year? See a doctor. There may not be much he can do while Bub is in there but he can lend some reassurances.

Does anyone suspect their babies have colic? Joey has been crying like crazy of a morning and evening and it seems impossible to settle him where I used to be able to. He finally falls asleep after hours of crying and whining
I do the swaddle, dark room, white noise but takes ages for it to work!
I did download the wonder weeks and it says he is in a leap as he is 4 1/2 weeks so maybe it's just that but wow it's so full on

It's official, Bub is still breech and will be delivered by c-section at 2pm on Wednesday. I cannot wait to meet this little boy or girl but after catching up on this thread, not looking forward to the feeding merry go round that you guys are on!!

We are probably a bit of a scary sounding bunch to a third Tri pregnant woman
Don't worry there's a lot of good with the bad. You're just more likely to be more vocal about the bad. That cliche about when they smile it makes everything okay? It's ridiculous and true. I'll be ready to throw in the towel and ship him off and all he has to do is lock eyes with me and I melt ❤️

Hey Hopeful our bub has colic and reflux... are you breast feeding if not try novalac colic and Dr browns bottles works a treat... we do that with probiotics but honestly Zoe is still hard in the evenings but following a routine now and it helps... last sleep awake by 5pm then play time and a little feed then bath and a little more play time then start final feed around 6.30 and hopefully then sleep... last night she fed 2 hourly but we are in a growth period so expected it... even suspect teething... 2 and half weeks and we are starting some solids and I think that will help
