Thanks @MrsTugs- have a white noise machine + a shusher ad they work beautifully during the day but once night hits- all hell breaks loose! And yep have been making a concerted effort to id tired signs- our limit of awake time is 45-60 mins at the moment so we swaddle tightly and put to bed once we see a yawn/ jerky movements etc- arrrggghhhh!! They are like tiny little devil children with the most shrill screams ever. And I hate not being able to calm them........
Hoping once this leap is done that this might pass along with the 45 min waking cycle....people tell me that the screaming doesn't go long past 3 or 4 months .....hoping its 3 months and not 4 to be honest.....I dread evenings.......

Their scream is specifically designed to cut to your core. No other human is affected by their cry quite like you are. Damn biology.

We seem to be somewhere between leap one and two but according to the app we should be two weeks off Austin's first leap. His actual birth date seems closer than the due date. We've been getting the heart melting smiles for about 3 weeks now and boy do they make the fussiness and sleepless nights worth it!

Austin has been really bad at nights for about 10 days now. I'm starting to feel loopy with sleep deprivation! We're also still learning to breastfeed so things seem quite unsettled in our household at the moment!

How are all the mummies who haven't had bubs yet?

We're supposed to have been going through Leap 1 the past week but I thought we were going okay until the last two days where his fussiness has been just out of control. I salute you @Ruby16! To do this with two devil children instead of just one!!! When I feel like he is just too much I should remind myself of the amazing mothers with multiples...

That picture sums it up @gypsychild!! Yep 2 is certainly hard......a lot harder than I ever thought to be honest! But we will get through it I'm sure....Ill be alot grayer than I was before though I reckon!!
tried putting them down on the knocker of 45 mins yesterday (not waiting for tired signs) and that seemed to work (thanks @MrsTugs for that suggestion) and last night they slept easily and no screaming!! hopefully continues today.....

Good luck Ruby. Looks like you've found their period of wakefulness at 45 mins.
