@Maxwellsmum yeah the overhang is new this year for me. I've turned into a total porker because of that evil prednisone, it's all on my belly and hips. Blurgh. That's good you're on a **** load of drugs, let's get this transfer happening!!!!!!! @gorgeousgeorge lucky you, that sounds interesting never heard of her. Have you been to Egypt, I'm assuming you have. I hated the place but the relics were amazing.

@Tinachris yeah i have been to egypt (claimed that on my tax too lol) i was in india before cairo and i only had 1 day to see the pyramids and omg, i had dehli-belly soooooo bad, like the worst diarhoea ever (worse than pico-prep) but id travelled half way around the world n spent thousands to do it so i decided id just sh*t my pants whilst gazing at the pyramids if needs be coz id never see any of those people again and it'd be worth it. It didnt happen thank god but it was a close call.

@tuxcat I'm ok, still on the occasional pain meds but think I'm getting more energy. So sick of being sick! He is doing really, really well! No real date on when he can come home but my guess would be in the next two weeks.

So at the hospital my partner and I had to speak to a geneticist about some results from an amnio I had (when the doctors were trying to figure out what was wrong with me). We sat down in the busy NICU and he was asking us some questions about our family tree. So one of the first questions was "Are you cousins?" wtf? And then a little while later he asks us with a very hushed tone "I understand you used a donor?" How that warrants a hushed tone but the cousin question doesn't beats me.

Where are you at? Last I remember you were doing some counseling? Or had it booked in?

@Bongley congratulations on the birth of Alex, I hope you can bring him home soon. That geneticist sounds like a total idiot!

omg thats ridiculous!! haha I think we are all so at home with de that we forget the real world is a little behind!! I bet you are sick of being sick, you've been through the ringer!!

Thats awesome he's doing so well, hopefully he will be home super soon, sweet little petal

Im doing great, we have our final counselling session next wednesday, Im on synarel sniffing the happy mist (suppress the adeno) and just patiently waiting for it all to start really. My donor and I both have our nurses appointment 2nd week of August (mines over the phone) and then if all goes to plan starting somewhere around earlyish September. Still hoping to do a fresh transfer but if that doesnt pan out with the syncing of our cycles then it will be frozen in october i guess. But I cant wait til october so September it will be!! Im sick of being patient!!
