@winsor congrats on finding a donor lovely :-)
Ok trying to play catch up but I am sure I will have missed something :
@Arianasmum - Welcome to the thread hun and good luck luck with your cycle. @Maxwellsmum - Great that you got some gonal f organised hun.
@pinc383 - I agree with @Tinachris hun its doubtful that the saizen increased your numbers, its generally for egg quality although it didnt even help me with that. Can I ask if Warren's staff gave you any idea of when a cancelation appointment may come up? @BlondeinBrisvegas - Great that you are getting things sorted on the legal front with what happened and what a good Dad for speaking with him also. @Billie2 - Sorry love you made me laugh with how you wrote your posts. Sounds like you had a very quick acting doctor, hope the bt shows a rise which will reasure you, I would say cancel the scan as it may cause more stress doing it early. @gorgeousgeorge - I didn't find your post insensitive hun I definitely expected more thsts not usually the issue its the crap chromosomes that cause our problems.
Tahli - Good luck for Friday's Wazza' appointment post waxing x
Very tired @winsor. I just spent the last few weeks moving house. We didn't use removalists as we were trying to save money (IVF ate up all our savings) but with a new bub it was really difficult. After we unloaded the last trailer load I found myself drinking a glass of warm riesling from a tumbler with a picture of road runner on it. I was not going to wait to find the wine glasses or even for the wine to chill.
I finally had time today to catch up on Bubhub posts. Then I saw your news. Brilliant, just brilliant.
Hello to all the regulars. Welcome to the newbies. @Grace1 I remember you! Good luck with number 2.
@Arianasmum I have seen lots of ladies over 45 on US sites and wondered where our Aussie ladies were. It's so good to have you here. Good luck with your cycle.
oh moving over a few weeks is rough. so tiring. I hope you're all settled in now and bubba is going well. a new life in a new home
Evening ladies. Sorry for the tmi but I'm getting a lot of sticky stretchy cm and I'm wondering if that's a good sign for lining or is just due to increased oestrogen that might not translate to a thicker lining. Grasping at straws maybe.
@pingc383 - My remaining follies were all still too small for an egg hun but it can also happen when some follies retain the egg on the side of the follicle.
@Charlie74 - It sucks to be sick hope you feel better soon x
@Maxwellsmum - The plan is to put a pgd tested embie back from our last cycle but we spoke to Warren on Saturday about maybe also putting back an un tested embie ftom this cycle too. So a DET, he said to ask him again on the day which will be next Monday but do to our chromosomally crappy embryos I have a feelinh he could be persuaded. Obviously thats if we get a good blast.
@gorgeousgeorge - Gosh you don't even consider that any of the staff at the clinics have to go through this crap themselves do you. She must be able to do such a good job as she can relate so well to patients journeys. @winsor - Fantastic news on finding a donor hun x
Thanks for your positive thoughts ladies I don't know if I can even face ringing up tomorrow though for fert rate, if I have a drop of early on then I don't have much hope of getting a blast or two to be tested let alone a normal one. Thinking this all comes down to the change to menapur, I was willing to try it for a change of protocol though its just not worked. I know people say quality over quantity and I completely agree with that due to our chromosomally crappy embryos (Warren's words) but Warren also said its a false theory that less eggs often means better quality.
Last cycle we only had 3 embies to test and started with 29 eggs with one normal so can't imagine getting much from this cycle 😢.
