Yep...and I know this view may not make me popular, but as far as I'm concerned, I think they've both made a really selfish choice in doing that. I feel sorry for the child and what he/she will be facing in the years ahead because of this.

Sorry, but 63 and 78 is pushing the envelope too far IMO. Bloody disgraceful!!

@BIB I tend to agree. My mum is 59, so she is still in with a chance then . (Besides the hysterectomy she had)!

@Tahli - Oh no hun hope you find it, definitely ring the bt place and double check its worth a try.

Oh gosh I definitely could not not imagine having a baby in my 60's and him in his 70's for one I can't imagine the childhood that poor child will have plus having to deal with ageing parents with illnesses such early on jn life. I couldn't imagine my mum and dad dealing with that now, mind you they are too busy with life since there retirement haha! Don't get me wrong here I am all for older parents but there has to be a limit for child's sake.

Im curious to know what bodgy country she went to, where a FS would be allowed to do ivf on a 63 year old. @Tahli i hope you find your earing too. Its awful when you lose your best jewellery.
So i was telling dh about snakes n the foxtel box n fires n everything else. I had to laugh, at first he got really angry "aargh thats frucked" "thats so unfair" etc etc Then he got all pensive and said, "with luck like that, you and your lady friends really should start buying lotto tickets".

Hopefully it won't be too long for you to wait then @pingc383 it definately could be worse. From what I can gather too from what I have heard its not just about cancelations. If warren finds himself with some free time such as no procedures for the day he will fill it at late notice with last minute appointments off this list.

You bring up a very good point there @Charlie74 I wonder where they have got the information from hoping its not family and friends that have commented to the media.

Haha no I don't think he likes free time that's why he fills it with more appointments haha! He is one very dedicated man working from 5am to very late 6 days a week and then he has crazy ladies like me contacting him on Sunday afternoon stressing about injections haha! He had a women in at 9pm the other Saturday he told me as he didn't like the look of her bloods and he had just returned from holiday that day.

@winsor congrats on finding a donor
@Heyside I know you're disappointed but your egg numbers sound great to me!, I had only 5 mature eggs - 3 of those fertilized and I got a bfp from that cycle.
