You know when i wrote that post, i originaly wrote 'IF I get back with a bfn' then i stared at it, deleted it, changed to 'when', then back to 'if' then back to 'when' again coz my head went: "Be positive! no dont jinx yourself! no be positive! no dont jinx yourself! pride comes before a fall!"
So basically thinking that one word i chose to use in this particular post will affect the outcome of my DE cycle. Basically: Use the wrong word=NO BABY EVER
Im not religious. Im not superstitious and i dont believe positive thinking will affect my donors eggs.
    See @Billie2 Im crazy too.
Im tempted to start a "whats the craziest out of character thing ivf has ever made you do?" thread. But i dont know how to. I bet there'd be some doozeys.

@Billie2 I read your post and thought it was completely normal. You my friend ate not alone in doing that. The 2ww after the 2ww is frucking awful. Especially when things aren't peach perfect with all the levels.

it's ok, you're not being painful. I'd just hate for you to do someone else's exact cycle and it not work. just keep in mind there's no 'sure bet' cycle, otherwise we'd all be doing that one and not be here after multiple failures

it's ok, I think we've all gone for the sneaky BTs at the GP. I just told mine that the clinic's one was too far away & I needed to find out before then how things were going due to the previous result/uncertainty. weeks later, I was due to have a private scan too - my GP gave me the forms but it was too late by then. I don't think there's a problem with it - you're pg now which means your #1 mission is to look after you & bub and if doing extra tests/scans helps you feel better then that's perfectly fine & understandable. I think the GPs know to expect it.

so it's all good. enjoy being pg. and try not to worry too much - I know it's hard, seems to never stop

I think 9 is a great result. quality over quantity any day. good luck! I hope you can go home soon & rest up, you must be exhausted

I'm sorry you're disappointed hon. I can see how you would feel ripped off considering the number of follies you had. But hey, like you said...it only takes one. Fingers crossed for magical fertilisation rates

@Tahli, sorry to hear about the dog peeing on your equipment. And your furniture catching fire. And your gastro. And your sick DS.

Far out. Catch a break, anyone?!

@gorgeousgeorge cycstic fibrosis didn't take long at all for us - week at most. But they messed up the chromosomal Karyotype so had to get that done again - and have had to contact GP twice now to find out where the results for the new one is - still nothing and we're off to Athens in 6 weeks (yikes - am starting to stress about that as well!)

@Heyside - 9 eggs can still bring you that one perfect golden egg- I'll pray that's the case!

@Charlie74 ah hope you feel better soon!

Question: As I'm on microgynon as per Dr N instructions (first pack ending this Fri) I thought that stopped ovulation thus no bleeding until you stop the pills... (or start new pack etc).... but I have spotting already and feel AF coming on .... as i'm in high risk category and wasn't supposed to be taking these anyway I'm worried on so many levels! Anyone know if spotting normal? Thanks!

    Great news @Heyside!!
Yes they are like a flower shape. I have started them vaginally tonight. I also forgot my Synarel spray this morning so dp had to drive it to work for me which takes 40 mins each way then now I've just realised that my schedule says take two trental a day but the box says take 3. Today has not been a good day
