I'll be getting a CT scan I think at some point to see how my internals are faring. Plus the dreaded 'WOTB' prep for the colonoscopy. (see who can guess what that stands for )

I am hoping to catch up with my donor next weekend and I thought I'm going to rock up with no bump and no baby, she's going to think I made it all up but looks like Alex will be out of hospital after all in time to meet her.

sorry for the lack of personal ladies, I'm actually trying to finish off some work as well!!!! No rest for the wicked.......
Weeing out the bottom! Do i get a chocolate frog?
Im so glad you'll be able to take your little bubba home soon andvthis whole ivf thing will fade away like a bad dream. You'll just be like a 'normal' mumma!

P.S. I just had to add, totally dont know what date it is, as a teacher all i ever know is things like its week 3, term 3, day 2 today and as sn ivf-er, i know its day 14 of my cycle (lucky DH!). Anyway, just realised its august, so i can say im going to athens next month (still 7 weeks until i go) but i like the sound of 'next month' much better. Except that now ive realised that its 'next month', im getting anxious (@Billie2 - im a total hypocrite).
Oh and, if anyone ever had to get partner to do cystic fibrosis blood test, any idea how long it takes to get results back? My hubby did the test 7 weeks ago to the day. My clinic can confirm bloods were sent off but no results back. Lovely receptionist said she would chase it up for me (lovely considering i havent paid them a cent and im not even really a patient there anymore!) But do you think i should try and chase it up myself too? Just wond er ing if 7 weeks is normal time frame for this test. I know it takes a while but...?

Good grief...fires, brimstone, snakes, traffic jams, attentive thorough gp's. WTF? Its like the apocalypse on this thread. Is it just me or has the world gone mad?!
I was laughing at myself after I wrote it. Ive turned into some maniac that's really not me. I hate who I have become. Im thinking of pretending none of this is happening and get on with life. I hate was IF has done to my character. Today made me slap myself. I went too far and I need to have a break I think.

And you're right, they won't let me transfer 4, only 2. I hope it's not because they want more of my money

I'm so certain those frozen embryos are duds..

And she refuses to believe that the pregnyl was still in my system when I did my BT at end of 2ww. She won't give me p4 pressaries. She says pregnyl is the best possible natural way of increasing p4... I felt like saying "if it was, why isn't Wazza using it?", but I didn't..

Hopefully the Wazza appointment is not too far away.. I need his magic!
I stimmed with (I think) 50IU of Puregon, then one pregnyl booster, pregnyl trigger two days later then three further pregnyl boosters after transfer.

How may cycles have you done? You need to have some faith in what your FS is saying and if you don't, I'd look at finding another one. They want you to have success as at the end of the day its a business so they want good figures for pregnancies/live birth rates

Yep @gorgeousgeorge that was me. New Foxtel box is now in situ! Add to lastnight's fire, vomiting and diarrhoea I had to take 4 y/o DS for blood tests today. Emla patch went on one hour prior amongst major tantrum, the first pathology place was an epic and traumatic fail with one woman who was a total b*tch, so onto our local hospital where they have amazing ladies to draw children's blood. They were angels. It took 3 of us to physically restrain him. I'm sporting two pretty painful bite marks. Mummy got a bandaid too. Another 2 weeks til the next lot of bloods. Boo.
The local hospital (private) just happens to be the one I wanted to give birth in and the reason I took out PHI. Sure enough we passed a brand new bub and mum in the corridor. I had to bite back the tears. It was like a lightening bolt through my heart. I'll be using my PHI to have a hernia op there next Thursday instead.

My disaster of a cycle continues I am afraid. I only got 9 eggs from 25 follicles and I know I only need one good one but with my usual huge drop off it doesn't look good. To top it off my meds weren't sent to the hospital so Dh had to run down to Warren's room for scripts and sort it at the chemist only to bring it back to the hospital and its all wrong.

Still at the hospital having intralipids its going to a long day I think.

@Billie2 the situation isn't funny but what you did did make me have a little chuckle for you. Just delay the scan a bit and please update us once you get your next set of results :0)
