I'd read about the AACEP protocol prior to consulting and transferring over to Wazza. Thankfully it was the protocol he wanted to use for me (as I was going to ask to try it anyway) . Using a high dose of FSH is part of that protocol normally so I was happy to go with Wazza's recommendation in Cycle 4 to see if my ovaries would respond to a mega high dose with more follicles/eggs.

In my case, a higher dose of stims didn't make any difference in terms of egg numbers (which makes sense as I'm a normal responder. Either that, or I was having a sh!t Cycle that month coincidentally which I don't believe to be the case) so when Wazza and I were discussing Cycle 5, I told him I wanted to dial the FSH right back to a lower dose (although the dose was higher than I'd had in Cycles 1,2 and 3) and why I wanted to do it and he was fine with my reasons for wanting to so that's what we did. I also asked to swap the Gonal-F to Puregon to use in combination with the Menopur as well (as I'd used Puregon in Cycle 1 and Gonal-F in all the other Cycles).

My first 3 Cycles with my original FS were just long, down regulated Cycles (Agonist) where I used Puregon or Gonal-F only for the FSH with dosages ranging from 225IU to 275IU. I also used Synarel and triggered with Ovidrel.

Yep...it's not unheard of Luv after all the drugs and build up of the lining etc.

I've had it happen to me in failed Cycles before

We have started our 1st cycle. I am on synarel and I've got elonva injection last Wednesday and tomorrow I will have a scan and blood test. Then menopour injection depending on the scan and blood test result.
I know my chance is almost zero. We will try with my own egg and consider donor egg if unsuccessful.

Hello Luv and Welcome to the thread......

Wishing you the very best of luck with your Cycle

Hopefully there are some eggs left in your ovaries so you can at least give it one try with your OE's (own eggs) before thinking about going the DE route Luv. Your scan tomorrow will show how many follicles there are and that will tell you how many eggs *might* be growing in them (the blood tests will help determine that as well)

Please keep us all updated and I shall add you to our Roll Call

    Just curious!

My sister bought some (not DHEA) from there just the other week and had no issues with it. It arrived about a week and a half after she ordered it

I've read over the years of other BH's who've ordered DHEA and Melatonin off the site and haven't had any issues either with getting it through customs etc

Those sound like the normal blue pills you get prescribed for "erectile dysfunction" Luv which are meant to be taken orally...Obviously not by you for that reason!!!

So you should be ok in terms of them not making you ill in any way. Don't worry that you've forgotten to insert them up the VJay Jay until now. They'll still have time to do the job by Friday I reckon

Shove a couple up your Clacker from here on in for good measure I say!!!

Hope so am feeling really bloated today.
I just want it too be over well the FSH ect to be over as I am very aware of my ovaries and I was really hoping that yesterday I would be given a green light which hasn't happened. My DH's really angry as he assumed that since it's 7.1 it would all be steam rolling in like usual instead it's more waiting. It's kind of hard to understand why when all year we have pushed to get it to 6.5 and over . Anyway I'm just resting today as I'm too bloated to do much else ATM.
