    @Heyside good luck for today, I really hope you enjoy your little sleep, sounds like you deserve it! I hear you on the valium, it seems to do nothing for me either! @pingc383 I've only ever done medicated FET's. Re the trigger shot and your comment 'if my eggs are rubbish, would an ovulation trigger shot help at all with the one egg that's being released this month?' they only make you trigger to make you ovulate to then do the transfer 5 days later...if they egg being released at ovulation is rubbish it doesn't matter as they are putting the embryo in, does that make sense? The trigger is so they know when you ovulate to then time the transfer as if natural conception had occurred and it gets into your womb at about the same time. We always DTD too despite being told not to, what's the worst that can happen and lets be honest, its not worked so far has it hehe! I thought it would maximise our chances if nothing else. I don't think you'd get four transferred, I think two is the max and that's after several failed cycles and dependent on age and your FS.

    I would like to add I'm not an advocate for drinking @Maxwellsmum (well, actually I am) but in this cycle that I did drink, every night up until transfer and I think one the night of transfer too, red wine only, my lining was at 9.8mm whereas previous cycles where I didn't drink I'd be lucky to hit 6mm at the same time. I don't know if it was the wine that made a difference but something did and I think that's the only thing I did differently. I also ate eggs and avocados like they were going out of fashion but I've always done that. I did try the pineapple core too but that didn't help me! I figured if my FS told me to drink then who am I to argue with an expert. It also helps with the stress management side of things I think
    @Billie2 have you got your dr apt today for your BT? Another thing I thought of last night, had you had your bt done in the afternoon the hcg would have even higher again. Are you coping okay in the intermin
    @Tahli oh my god I can't believe what a full on night you had. Hope you start to feel better soon and so glad it wasn't worse than it was.
    @Caesardust how are you feeling?
    @Blossom74 29 days til September!

    @Caesardust are you taking the star shaped blue Viagra normal tablets? I inserted those vaginally. All they did was made my vag quite tender after about 3 days use.
    Great news @Heyside!!

    I'd read about the AACEP protocol prior to consulting and transferring over to Wazza. Thankfully it was the protocol he wanted to use for me (as I was going to ask to try it anyway) . Using a high dose of FSH is part of that protocol normally so I was happy to go with Wazza's recommendation in Cycle 4 to see if my ovaries would respond to a mega high dose with more follicles/eggs.

    In my case, a higher dose of stims didn't make any difference in terms of egg numbers (which makes sense as I'm a normal responder. Either that, or I was having a sh!t Cycle that month coincidentally which I don't believe to be the case) so when Wazza and I were discussing Cycle 5, I told him I wanted to dial the FSH right back to a lower dose (although the dose was higher than I'd had in Cycles 1,2 and 3) and why I wanted to do it and he was fine with my reasons for wanting to so that's what we did. I also asked to swap the Gonal-F to Puregon to use in combination with the Menopur as well (as I'd used Puregon in Cycle 1 and Gonal-F in all the other Cycles).

    My first 3 Cycles with my original FS were just long, down regulated Cycles (Agonist) where I used Puregon or Gonal-F only for the FSH with dosages ranging from 225IU to 275IU. I also used Synarel and triggered with Ovidrel.

    Yep...it's not unheard of Luv after all the drugs and build up of the lining etc.

    I've had it happen to me in failed Cycles before

    Hello Luv and Welcome to the thread......

    Wishing you the very best of luck with your Cycle

    Hopefully there are some eggs left in your ovaries so you can at least give it one try with your OE's (own eggs) before thinking about going the DE route Luv. Your scan tomorrow will show how many follicles there are and that will tell you how many eggs *might* be growing in them (the blood tests will help determine that as well)

    Please keep us all updated and I shall add you to our Roll Call
