@Molros Im confused. I dont know if I should be happy or not. I thought because it didnt double perfectly at 48hrs I was a goner. I dont know what to think. Nurse wasnt very convincing. Im 4wks+2 days. In a normal fertile world I would be so happy if this was my first bt. Good advice, will go to GP tomorrow & get BT done first thing wed morn. This is far from the joyous feeling I thought conception would bring.

Thanks again everyone. Your support is what is keeping me out of the tissue box.

    @Billie2 shameless copy and paste:

When hCG levels in early pregnancy measures less than 1,200 mIU/ml, the hCG usually doubles every 2-3 days. There is normally an increase by at least 60% in the level of hCG every two days

so your 57 hours falls well within that

Don't worry about the nurse, I think they become so hardened to it they forget what its like for us. And you're right, had you not had issues getting pregnant you wouldn't be worrying, you wouldn't even know what your hcg levels or P4 were. I'd like to say once you get pregnant all the worrying stops but it doesn't....will there be a heartbeat, will it still be there at 12 wks, will everything be okay at the 20 wk scan, will it be born okay and so on. I remember balling my eyes out to my ob at 38 wks as so many people had thought it nice to share stories about having friends who had still births at 39 wks. Yep, I really needed to hear that, esp having an IVF baby and GD

@Billie2 if you wanna go into the tissue box, you go girl :-) I will invest in Kleenex and make a fortune, and maybe an investment in frer shares would also be profitable.
Dont feel bad about not enjoying the experience so far. You dont have to enjoy it, if you cant feel joyous about it and thats ok too. I think i would be totally feeling the same as you. I would see 2 pink lines then worry worry worry. I think id still be worrying even if i was in labour at 40 weeks. I would put imaginary baby in their cot at home and worry they had stopped breathing every second of the day. You cant force worry to go away. It goes away naturally as a result of consistent positive feedbavk and many of us have never gotten anything but negative feedback, hence the normal response of 'worrying' and negative expectations. Not that knowing that helps, it still suxs to live life full of worry xox I often think about how if i ever do get preggers, I'll 'ruin' or 'miss out' on enjoying the experience and will feel 'guilty' about getting what i wanted but still not appreciating it but i think that is what fertility difficulties do to your brain. Ive read lots of ladies' posts which said that they gradually started to worry less but they all had individual dates, times, milestones etc... for when that begun to happen, no 2 ladies were alike so i think there is no 'right' time to stop worrying. It will happen when it happens. I think we all have expectations about how we "should" feel but emotions are what they are. Go get as many bt's as you want. There is no harm in it. If it is making you feel better then its worth doing, if only for that reason, i reckon. xoxoxoxox BIG HUGS 4 U

@Billie2, the bit that's says there is normally an increase by at least 60% in the level of hCG every two days means that if you started at 125 then two days later it should be 200 and so on from there:

    Thursday 125 +60%=
    Saturday 200 + 60%
    Monday 320

So I think you're still in the game lovely, please please try and relax and make that dr apt for tomorrow! Tell him you want the bhcg done and mark it urgent!

Sorry, should I drop back to 3 pessaries a day now? I didn't dare tell her I was doing 4 a day. I cant believe I upped my prog from 19 - 286 in 4 days. Those silver bullets are out of this world.

According to my Babymed site..4wks+2days levels should be between 200-400 with the average being 300.

I'd say you're ahead of the game according to their site (which is the one I used when Preggo).

Here is the link if you want to have a look for yourself Luv:

Just scroll down to the bottom of the page. It's an excellent website IMO.

Anyhoo..apologies if my earlier post was a bit blunt. I was out an about and had to post quickly on the run....

My opinion is to follow the clinics advice i reckon just in case there's a prob with having your progesterone too high? Is that possible/ a thing? IDK?
Or you know what id probably do? Id ring the clinic, ask for my favourite nurse and confess to her and say i was too scared to tell the other nurses. Then she will be nice to you about it and just help you. (I had 1 nurse that was much more kind and understanding and compassionate and indulged and listen to all my concerns, so hopefully there is one at your clinic like that?) Dont worry about what they think of you. You cant be THE craziest lady at your clinic and who cares what they think anyway. They work with the craziest of the cray-crays (us ;-) ) everyday.

Or id lie and ring them and say, "so ive been taking 4, is that right? I just wanted to double check?" And if they say "no you should be on 3", act all surprised.
