    Thanks @gorgeousgeorge.
Egg donor exists indeed thx God, but for me it feels more like a plan z for now.
At this stage I am not ready for this yet and I want to exhaust every single possibility before to chose that path. No regrets is my motto

Not having a kid at all is not an option so if that's the only choice left, I'll gratefully grab it.
But I think one has to go through a whole internal and personal process to get there and I haven't even started considering it.

However knowing that it exists is comforting.

I'm a poor responder but I managed to produce Grade 1 embryos so I'm hoping that quality wins over quantity...

No worries mate, totally- you have to do whats right for you and you gotta do whatever you need to do for yourself. Im hoping that you get what are you are wishing for :-) Thats what i hope for us all i guess. I just wasnt sure if you knew about donor stuff at all, so thought id mention it :-) and lol 'internal process' is an understatement. I had a total breakdown and stayed in bed crying for 2 weeks about my poor eggs. But thats all passed now, thank god.

    HAPPY WEEKEND LADIES!!!

@Charlie74 yeah I believe pbs will be that price anywhere. Question is, do they have to order it in or do they have it in stock. When I went to my local Terry White they had to order syneral in. It only took I think 2 days or something. Just somethi to consider xo

just a question .... Has there been many successes that anyone recalls recently for pregnancies with own eggs as it seems most have turned to donor eggs once your on the other end of 40.

Of course you can join Luv!!!

More srsly, hope those pessaries do the trick, BT on Monday seems like an eternity to wait!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been through the hundreds of pages of your 35x threads (Impressive!) but you ladies seem to be a solid bunch of warriors. Billie kept telling me about the quality ppl in this group and the wonderful knowledge sharing (what I'm after).
Although I'm not in my 40's yet, I'm nicely getting there, and have been told in a lovely manner by my FS that I'm responding like a 40+ yo... So? Do I qualify??

I'm not gonna bore you with my journey which is in my signature anyway.
Let's just say I'm a poor responder, never had frosties, going fresh cycle each time with a few eggs to play with. I'm about to embark in a 5th fresh cycle, with no excitement whatsoever.

After a 3rd failed cycle in a row I decided to think outside the box and try new things: I started Dhea 2 months ago and really hope it's gonna show some results... Also wanted to try E2 priming last cycle, but FS said no. Instead she put me on the highest dosage of Puregon, which was completely useless.
I'm seeing her next week to plan imminent next cycle, and will push for E2 priming again.
At this stage, I have nothing to lose and I'm ok to experiment. I understand the risks and accept them.
No point repeating same protocol over and over again imo.

If I learnt one thing about IVF so far, is that FS are not wizards and you gotta educate yourself and help design your own protocol. At least with me and Billie's clinic. Knowledge is power and I'm so keen to learn from you ladies.

If anyone is willing to share anything at all regarding Dhea and/or E2 priming, good or bad, please do so! Those 2 things are my last hope, my backup plan. After that, I have nothing left, no more ideas...

Thanks for reading and wishing everyone a great weekend! X

Hello Luv and Welcome to the thread!!!!!......

I'm one of Wazza's Girls that was fortunate enough to get my BFFP with my OE's at 40 years and 3 months doing the AACEP protocol on the second Cycle I did with Wazza after transferring from my original FS (who is also with QFG and a really lovely person, just far too conservative in his approach for my liking) as well as taking Wazza's pharmacy of drugs and supplements for almost 7 months between Cycle's 4 and 5 (as did my Ex Partner even though Wazza TESA'd his sperm due to the Azoo).

I'd suggest trying a different FSH like Menopur if you haven't already or doing a combination of Menopur and Puregon or Menopur and Gonal-F. You can also use Menopur on its own to stim with.

Luveris is also something that can be added to the protocol for egg quality so that might be worth talking to your FS about as well. Melatonin is another supplement that is taken for egg quality. HGH (human growth hormone) is another addition to protocols that is added for egg quality. It's efficacy is debatable but it's one of those things that you have to try it to know if it's going to help or not.

Then there is the PGD testing you could do if you can afford to especially if you're producing top grade embryo's Luv.

Of course then there is the all the investigations r.e Immune Issues or issues in your oven like endo/fibroids, Hydrosalpinx etc that could be preventing an embryo from implanting that should be investigated if they haven't been already IMO.

I'd be happy to post my supplements list and protocol for you if you're interested Luv

Let me know what month you're next planning to Cycle and I'll add you to the Roll Call too

Welcome @Jazzabelle13 I'm just shy of 18 weeks pregnant with own egg bubba. It took us 7 stim cycles, 100 eggs, and a brilliant/"kitchen sink" FS (Wazza). I was almost 43 when eggs were collected and we did PGD as well. I have PCOS, but know Wazza has had some good success stories with women with low AMH who were just 40.
    Good luck with your TWW.

@LillyM Im so happy to see you here. Well not really, but you get it. @BlondeinBrisvegas can add you to the roll now. Ive learnt more from this thread than anywhere. And people dont just say "yay" here, they offer their own experience and they know that baby dust isn't real. (Ssshhhhhh don't tell the other threads).

Sounds like it's eased off Luv....brown blood = old blood

your P4 levels have risen enough and that's the end of that as far as the bleeding is concerned!!!!
