@Lucky8 Massive hugs hun, . The Greek ED girls seem to have good progesterone levels and it's really cheap too isn't it?
Like I said before @Billie2, if you were in Melb I'd happily help you out with a few Gestone injections. I've missed when you're retesting? I have everything crossed. How are you feeling today?
(Sorry Billie, we were posting at the same time!)

@Maxwellsmum - Oh not good that the meds are making you nauseated and lethargic hope it eases. Yes really hoping everything reaches your lining and kicks it into action. Yes lets hope this is the cycle for both of us.
@Charlie74 - Yes I seem to be the same this cycle hun the patches are the worst when I wake un a morning I get quite a strong headache thst eases pretty quickly aftee taking it off. That information about lining seems to match Wazza's philosophy completely and he refers to lots of current studies. I wouls speak to your nurse about this and not have the extra scan.
@Tahli - Hope all goes ok with your sons appointment hun and then for your Wazza appointment at the end of next week and he gives you some good advice of what to do x
@Billie2 - Gosh hun I have a picture of you trying to lie horizontal at your desk 😄 hopefully the progesterone is getting in your system. I was told to insert a tampon covered in vasaline after the pessary to keep it in, this might make things at work easier.

@Tahli - yes the Greek de program seem to be all over the p4 levels . I learnt more through this experience ! I wonder if 5 years ago doing own egg if something so simple made the difference of implantation or not . FS at the time who was a bit old school said progesterone levels go up on their own if egg is viable - stupid me followed his direction & did not challenge more supplements back then . Even when naturally pregnant he refused to give me more progesterone support . Needless to say I moved onto Another FS after 6 blasts of my own didn't stick !!

The Greek equivalent of the crinone was so cheap to & no chunky bits coming out so much more pleasant an experience .

Thanks for support ladies , did not drink a full bottle of bubbles last night but did have some lovely dinner & desert with my gorgeous husband .

I am having trouble keeping up with the thread as it moves so fast ....

Snakes , rear end business ,piniatas .. you guys make me laugh 😃

@Billie2 , sore boobs good sign , keep going sister !!

Have a great day everyone xx

@Billie2 I was told you don't have to lie down with Oripro - just wear a liner. FWIW I was on the equivalent of 6/day... Keep well and try to rest up if you can.

@Tahli and @Charlie74 with your potential Bne FS I'd suggest you only get PBS scripts at the pharmacy in his building. They put on a huge markup on private scripts (I've found up to $50 on some IVF items) and they are very slow at preparing scripts (30-45 minutes).

So wot cycle day did u start clexane? LB only had wanted me to start it after transfer in Feb.. But Dr M said a week before.. Then my lining was frucked.. & it freaked me out Bcos I'd started the clexane according to Dr M.

FYI for all the 'lining' girls.. I asked dr Jeffrey Braverman about my lining. He agree's with Wazza's philosophy that once you start progesterone you don't measure the lining again. He said as long as it shows no signs of breaking down, & is trilaminar, then he is happy to go with the final lining measurement. So for example mine was 6.8 prior to progesterone- he would have gone ahead with transfer. He also said his minimum lining thickness to transfer is 6. He said there are excellent studies to support this.

Soooo.. Do i talk to my nurse about all of this & tell her that I don't want an u/s the day before transfer??? Which might mean speaking to LB as well I guess.... Opinions ladies??

Yep...I agree with the other Girls said and what Dr Braverman's and Wazza's philosophy is on this

I've read quite a few studies etc saying between 6-8mm's minimally is fine for transfer Luv so if it's good enough for those 2 (providing it's not breaking down and is Trilaminar in appearance) then I say go for it!!!

As for when to start the clexane, I'd start it when Wazza says to

Yes, speak to your nurse Luv. Don't be afraid to take control (to a certain extent) of your Cycle. Unless it's going to make you too anxious not to have the u/s the day before transfer, then don't do it and just go with the advice Dr B/Wazza give you

P.S...Those bloody Nitrodur patches gave me a cracker of a headache for the first couple of days I took them as well

My apt is next Fri with Wazza. Still conflicted about what to do. I'm sure he'll guide me. If I'm going to do an OE cycle I need to pay $90 to move my flight home to allow an extra 3 hrs for counselling, nurses apt and donor sperm apt.
More importantly my DS has his first apt with his paediatrician tomorrow. From there I'll know what's possible for the rest of the year re travel etc. His medical needs trump mine.
When is your first lining scan?
See what Wazza reckons and go from there Luv I say

Good luck at the Paed's tomorrow too. Hope it's nothing serious
