@Maxwellsmum yeah the extra spare tyre did help a bit with my injections too. On the flip side I don't think I could do injections into a 6-pack!!! Too much muscle!!! @Billie2 omg the only thing I spray the huntsmen with is insect spray till they're white or hubby catches them

@Lucky8 you had amazing progesterone levels! Mine stayed around 80 when they were still testing when I had DS last year, that was with 2 pessaries. Bugger about your HCG. I'll have a champers with you!

As for the pred spare tires, I already had a spare tire so now I have 2!

Yes I would. If you do an US day 12 and it is over 6 then that should be that unless they spend more time building your lining up. That's what Wazza does. You also keep building the lining for about 5 more days usually until you start on the progesterone which is whst makes the linung compress isn't it? Don't be afraid to speak your mind either to your clinic. I started clexane day 4. I usually start them day 7. This plans a little bit different for me than my others like that; I started a lot of meds day 2 instead of day 4.

Ew yeah nitro dur make my head hurt too not terrible but just persistent head pains when the patch is on. I wear mine just over night.

@Billie2 did you sort out the progesterone. BIB is right I'd be shoving them in wherever, whatever it takes. When's your next BT?

So I had an okay sleep. My lovely hubby kept checking on me though he knew I was worked up about snakey so he came in about 6 times as I went to sleep pretty early and he stayed up late. I had my two dogs in my bed with me too.

So wot cycle day did u start clexane? LB only had wanted me to start it after transfer in Feb.. But Dr M said a week before.. Then my lining was frucked.. & it freaked me out Bcos I'd started the clexane according to Dr M.

FYI for all the 'lining' girls.. I asked dr Jeffrey Braverman about my lining. He agree's with Wazza's philosophy that once you start progesterone you don't measure the lining again. He said as long as it shows no signs of breaking down, & is trilaminar, then he is happy to go with the final lining measurement. So for example mine was 6.8 prior to progesterone- he would have gone ahead with transfer. He also said his minimum lining thickness to transfer is 6. He said there are excellent studies to support this.

Soooo.. Do i talk to my nurse about all of this & tell her that I don't want an u/s the day before transfer??? Which might mean speaking to LB as well I guess.... Opinions ladies??

Hiya @Maxwellsmum! I'm glad to hear you're onto your next cycle. Curiously, what do you mean you bled out during your Clexane injection? Good luck with adding the FSH to the mix. Maybe catch the snake and add some snake oil too. Can't hurt.
My apt is next Fri with Wazza. Still conflicted about what to do. I'm sure he'll guide me. If I'm going to do an OE cycle I need to pay $90 to move my flight home to allow an extra 3 hrs for counselling, nurses apt and donor sperm apt.
More importantly my DS has his first apt with his paediatrician tomorrow. From there I'll know what's possible for the rest of the year re travel etc. His medical needs trump mine.
When is your first lining scan?

@Charlie74 I would speak up about your concerns, its your embryo and you want to feel like you were happy with how things were done and not left feeling annoyed about what ifs. FWIW Ive always heard the 6 number being thrown around for lining measurement being ok and its been mentioned in here a few times of late also.

@Maxwellsmum you sound more upbeat! I loved the sound of the baby kookaburra too btw. We get lots of baby magpies here in our backyard where the mum teaches them to find the worms. Its cute, I love the sound of both those birds, its a comforting homely sound. Sounds like hubby was on snake watch..thank gawd!!! farrr.k mine would have been just as scared as me!!

@Tahli yeah it sounds like wazza will tell you your chances and whether he thinks its worth a final last shot then you can decide what you think.

@Tinachris I know the white huntsmen look well when dh and I first moved in together our house was an old falling apart terrace with big cracks in the walls and we used to get huntsmen ALL the time. and because the walls were so tall they'd be stuck right up high above the stairs and we'd be almost held hostage fearing even walking below them to move to another room. DH would be spraying them until they almost froze over with white foam!! I have to say though now Im much better with spiders, I do try to catch them in a sealed container and put them outside. Not redbacks though, and we have plenty of them in our backyard

    Morning ladies

@Charlie74 Ta for sharing Dr Bravermans lining info. Just makes me so angry I couldn't do my last CT transfer with a lining of 6.4mm. Every day I'm thinking about my 3 donor embryos, and I wouldn't be doing that if I'd had the transfer months ago.
Re Clexane. LB had me starting it a few days pre transfer due to my international flights, Dr GM a week before and Dr W in CT had me on it from CD1 after a few failed transfers.
On the next cycle I only want to inject it just before flying to reduce the risk of clots rather than earlier on to possibly help with my lining. It's over 2 months since I last injected it and my tummy is still bruised. More than anything else, I only want to do the bare minimum now....unless on my next lining scan I don't even reach 6mm then I'll need to reassess my Zen Girl approach.

    Default IVF over 40 #35

@Maxwellsmum Morning! My BT is monday. Getting a call to see if you are 'still pregnant' is a new experience. Got Oripro this morning (block your ears @Blossom74) and shoved one straight up the bum. And then another on the front door. Im looking very uncomfortable and un-elegant trying to lay horizontal at my desk. I will do 4 a day till Monday. Should 4 a day be enough?
Good to hear the dogs kept you company and safe from Jake the snake.
@LillyM looping you in to join my friend. Ive previously mentioned you on here. Ladies can offer their experience and may be able to help you. xx
