Default Preparing for a second miscarriage

Hello I think I am going through a second miscarriage practically parallel to the 1st one. First one hcg levels were 62 ..5w3d pink spotting next day heavy bleeding hcg levels were 400 confirmed later that week when hcg levels dropped to 50. This time around got a faint positive when I was supposed to be 5weeks a stronger positive however hcg 4w5d 62 repeat 2 days later was 85. Have now started bleeding heavily and am pretty sure this is the same I'm 5w3d according to lmp. I have regular periods but tend to ovulate on the later side 17-18. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this and what their advice is .. I think I will be booking in to see a ob/gyn when I can.

I'm so sorry to hear @Rachi321. How are your progesterone levels? With my first mc my hcg levels weren't rising as they should and my progesterone was too low which is what causes the spotting apparently. I would definitely be seeing your ob as they might prescribe progesterone if this is related. My ob also discussed low dose aspirin at my visit the other day but as our latest mc was trisomy and not related to me I can't do anything but try again.
What vitamins are you taking too? Have you had any blood pre-pregnancy bloods taken to check vitamin d, iron, immunities, thyroid etc?

I'm hoping to get answers from the ob it is surreal how Both miscarriages happened the same exact way practically 5w3d this time last time started spotting 5w3d and became heavier the following day. I'm just frustrated and sad. Hope you are goin ok.

How are you going @Rachi321? Any update? Has the bleeding stopped? Did you speak to your GP about your progesterone levels?
On a side note, maybe something to think about is looking into coenzyme q10. I recently started taking this as it apparently helps with egg quality. I figure it can't do any harm. There's lots online about women having successful pregnancies after taking it. I can't obviously comment yet as its so early and we are only just starting TTC again but DH and I are both taking it just in case.

Hi @Fauvette I'm doing ok bleeding has turned to spotting .. I asked gp for a referral for an ob/gyn so I am going to see her and just explain the whole situation what I've been going through the last year and just ask for any testing available. I'll be seeing here in Monday week. How do they Check your progesterone levels ? Does it have to be at a certain point in your cycle ?

Hiya. How long did you bleed for? Was it like a proper period? If not it's possible that you're still pregnant. To check for progesterone it's just a blood test when they test HCG levels. I'd also ask the Ob about having 1 aspirin a day once you find out your pregnant. Most GPs won't start testing until you've had 3mc in a row but if you're going to an Ob I'd push for it all.

@Rachi321 my ob has done all the tests on me after 2 in a row. He didn't want to keep me waiting so just ordered tests to get some answers. I'm still needing to go for the karyotype yet but otherwise I'm done. Having said that, I'm using the same that I had for ds so maybe that makes a difference as I'm not a new patient?

Do you have a copy of the beta Hcg results on paper or were you just told verbally?
