    I went to my GP, there's not much he can do as he said anything to do with altering cycles takes quite a bit of hormone intervention - and that would be with a specialist - which it's too soon for that.

    He did give me a referral to the obgyn that I'll be seeing when I fall pregnant. I have Crohn's Disease (in remission) but it puts me in a slightly higher risk category and there was only one obgyn recommended to me. He said there's no harm in trying to get an appt early.

    So in reality, it's early days for me anyway, but I feel more at ease knowing I have professionals to seek support from

    I think most naturopaths would strongly disagree with that, having had great success altering cycles with herbal medicines.

    GPs on my experience were not very helpful. Even my specialist hadn't heard of Vitex or Maca root....

    I don't think it was deliberate they just didn't seem to know the specifics....
