    Default Bleeding in Pregnancy

Hi Everyone, I have a quick question and I am hoping someone can put my mind at ease. I am a mother of 5 and just found out I am nearly 6 weeks pregnant with baby 6. I had a vaginal scan done yesterday and this evening have noticed traces of blood when I wipe. It his not heavy but very slight. I have spoken to my dr and he didn't seem too concerned. However my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage which saw me in hospital having a transfusion of 4units of blood. I have had no cramping so hoping it is something that will just go away. Have never had this issue before so have been worrying all evening.

    Thankyou

I wouldn't stress too much. It's likely that the bleeding is just from your cervix due to the transvaginal ultrasound. Given that you've spoken to your doctor and he's not worried, take that as a good sign. Obviously if the bleeding gets heavier talk to your doctor again, but hopefully it will just settle down on its own.

I've had the same thing after a vaginal scan, I think it's normal as long as it doesn't get heavier.
