Ok, I understand and have compassion as you have explained that you have worked in immigration legal centres and have seen these people struggling and just want for a better life. I understand the frustration you must feel being involved in this battle, and the point of view you want to express and get across to people who you feel are being reasonable and unfair.

I also think your anger is blinding you from understanding how other people are feeling in regards to this topic.

Sonia Kruger, in all her years of television has not come across xenophobic, racist or bigoted In her views.
No my anger isn't blinding me. You're thinly veiled attempts at belittling anyone who disagrees with you are getting tired.

I'm not angry at anyone here despite your attempt to put words in my mouth. Sonia isn't worth getting angry at.

Let's spin the question. Why is it ok to be scared of "Muslims"? Why is that not the question? I've already said its ok to be scared of terrorists, or of extremists. Cheeeesecake pointed out why the threat from Muslims is actually not a threat at all.

    So why is it ok?

After what happened in Germany last night shouldn't we be equally scared of kids who are bullied?

There have been so so many posts in this thread explaining why there is no need for people to be scared. Why do you keep asking the same question?

I know fear isn't always rational and explaining to people over and over again why they have more to fear from their domestic partners than from Muslims doesn't penetrate. So I'm not sure why you keep asking me the same question. I believe her fear is baseless as she is not likely to experience a terrorist attack by a Muslim in this country.

??? That makes no sense. I asked you several times why her fears weren't baseless. Why does that rest your case?
