    I wear a bikini, too...and don't cover up when I'm not in the water. I feel really uncomfortable in a one piece or tankini. They're hot and annoying. My dad was a speedo wearer and my mum made him wear board shorts when I was in my early teens. He still wears boardies now (thanks dad!) But he used to complain about how horribly uncomfortable he found them. As I got older and less 'ewww dad' I have come to realise how much I would hate to he forced to wear a tankini or one piece to save my kids from 'embarrassment' because I do find them awfully uncomfortable. So my stance on the speedo changed. There's not that many men that wear them, so it's easy enough to avoid looking at them. People should wear what they're comfortable in. If it's a speedo well 'meh.'

    Wow Im surprised!

    In France most pools only allow speedos actually. So men can NOT wear swim shorts or whatever you call them :-)

    I dont mind them at all. We see as much of the female body through a swim suit... So if it's good enough for us it's good enough for them.
    No body shaming!

    Im not a fan of speedo's at all. If someone is an athlete (swimmer, triathlon, ironman etc) i completely understand. Also men swimming laps.but regular guys hanging out in speedo's at the local pool or beach.........not my cup of tea.

    But then again im sure theres some swimwear/clothing that men arent fond of many women in too

    This is my pet peeve. I freakin hate going to order my coffee and in front of me is yet another gaggle of sweaty, smelly men in their full body Lycra with their lunch packs on display. It puts me off my hipster brunch.

    @J37, DH just informed me that it was generally only the young fellas that tucked up their speedos like a g banger. The old boys apparently just pulled the back of their speedos down to just under their bums, so the whole butt is on display. So attractive!

    Personally not a fan of speedos at all 😝 I had a friend years back who was a very hirsute man, he was also very *ahem* well endowed and a fan of speedos. It was seriously like he smuggling an anaconda down his pants that was constantly at risk of escaping.... just, no! 😨

    Well the memory was bad enough before but now it's 10 times worse. Especially when you factor in that I now work with the guy.

    There is a rowing club next door to our scouts water hall. Besha you can just imagine the fits of hysterical laughter the boys are in when they see the rowers stand up out of their boats!! While the girls all run and hide lol.
