Default TTC With PCOS Tips Please!

Hi Everyone, I have PCOS and me and my husband have just started to try for a baby.

My doctor has put me on Metformin to help me with my ovulation and periods etc (I don't get my period at all naturally). He has also recommended I take pregnancy and conception multivitamins like elevit.

Just wondered if anyone who has successfully conceived with PCOS has any other tips or home remedies that they think helped them!

    Thank you x

Hi WormBags - best of luck to you! I am sure this is not what you want to hear, but I have PCOS and have finally conceived after over 1.5 years of trying, but it took 8 months of trying naturally, multiple rounds of Clomid, and then multiple rounds of IVF. My recommendation would be to be as aggressive and proactive as you're able. PCOS can throw a lot of spanners into the works and I am (from what I understand from the doctors and nurses) a textbook case - everything I did had to be tried 3 times - first time would be too much, first time too little, and so on. I finally had success with a frozen transfer after an increasing my Metformin to 3x a day, an intralipid infusion, endometrial scratch and then taking blood thinners and progesterone pessaries after the transfer. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!
