    Default Melbourne IVF anyone?

    Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is going well in their IVF journey. I’ve just started my first consultation with Melbourne IVF and wasn’t too comfortable with the specialist – personality wise. While we will be meeting him up again to discuss on all the test results before moving to the next step, I’m wondering if we can switch to another specialist within Melbourne IVF at this stage. Presumably all our test record are made available to all since they all are under Melbourne IVF?

Anyone under similar situation before and advise? Thanks heaps!

    Hi Makino,

I was not impressed with this clinic and my specialist at all. I have had 2 cycles with them without success (1 fresh and 1 FET with 3 good quality blasts in total). Initially, I was thinking of changing the specialist within the same clinic but decided to bite the bullet and move to another famous clinic in Melb. Guess what? I got pregnant on the first try with the new clinic (20 weeks now).

My suggest is to believe your guts and do some changes (not stick to same things forever after the fail cycles). I agree with you seeking the new specialist or new clinic. Wish you Luck!

Thank you for your advice Legally Brown.

In such case, what would be the process like. Do we need to start all over from getting a GP referral and do the various test all over again?

I'm hoping I can get a copy of those results and pass on to the next clinic/specialist.

@makino I only need the new referral from GP for the new specialist in new clinic.

I just submitted the old police check and all test result from the old clinic. I did couple of further test (I requested it myself) re natural killer cell which result in high nkc and got the treatment on the first cycle and success.
